Thanks for checking it out!

Thank you! I agree, the game design could be a lot more developed. Once I finish summoning my own billion-dollar deity, I'll be able to come back to work on it more 😄 Until then, thanks for playing!

Oh for sure. Thanks for playing!

Hmm... visually, I think I liked watching the archer fire arrows at the goblins, and watching the goblins bounce/run across the screen and steal ores. The underground gold-crushing mechanism was interesting too.

Did stuff, indeed! Thanks for playing :)

Hooray! And you are now rich beyond your wildest dreams!

Oh awesome, I'm glad to hear the low graphics option was helpful. Thanks for playing, and for the feedback!

As others have said, the animations are great! I liked getting to run around and cause chaos as a whole crowd of gnomes. I think it's a little too easy to lose your gnomes to the various hazards, but overall it was fun!

This is a great start for a little Vampire Survivors type of game. Congrats on finishing your first jam!

Cute! I love the retro vibe. Easy to play, and fun to try to get a high score.

This is great! It's got a good hook and lots of content. Nice job!

I like the art and music! It's a vibe 😌

This is a great little game. Very polished. And it's tricky to figure out some of the levels. Nice job!

Thanks for playing! I'll see if I can make it run a little better before time runs out :D

Thanks for playing it, and thanks for creating the jam! It was a fun theme.

This game was based on a series of recurring dreams where I was meeting the same person in the same location, and building something like a relationship over time. In the dream, we were both aware that we were dreaming and choosing to come back to meet every once in a while.

My plan for this game was to include 5 dreams / dates. I only had time for one. Ain't that just the way.

I like the visual style!

Aw yeah, I beat up a cat

What does "happy mode" do? When I press the down arrow, the seal makes a happy face but only for 1 frame.

Scary little game. So many rats. Feels very dream-like!

This was great! I loved the writing. The world of the ant colony and their hopes and worries about the Queens and flying all made for a compelling story right from the start. Great work!

I really enjoyed the microphone mechanic! It felt unique and interesting.

Nice job! Like others said, the voice acting was fun. I would have also liked to have subtitles.

(1 edit)

I like the risk and reward of needing to get close enough to a person to haunt objects near them, while also avoiding too much exposure. Nice job on this!

Very spooky vibes :O I tried it twice and I think I lost both times.

That's a great question. But either way, don't worry. We didn't get contacted by Nintendo or anything like that.

The mech isn't piloted at first, so it won't move yet.

First, you have to press Tab to go inside the mech, click on the character there, then click on the cockpit station in the top middle of the screen. Watch the status text to make sure it's working.

Once they start operating the station, you will be able to go back outside the mech and control it.

WOW. I'm blown away! This was such a well-told story, and absolutely fits the thoughtful theme. I'm really impressed. The RPG battle mechanics didn't completely work for me, but I got through a few battles and the rest were no obstacle thanks to the skip button (thank you for including that!). Very, very nice. One of my top picks for sure!

This was so much fun! I loved the writing. I got a few "snickers" out of it, for sure :D And the artwork is gorgeous. Great work!

This is a nice little challenge!

This is a great-looking game! The environment is beautiful, and it was fun to play. I only wish I could complete the story and see the shop grow. Nice job!

I like the concept! I'm not sure if it's because the game wasn't running very well on my computer, but I kept running into environment meshes and getting stuck and confused about where I was or what I was supposed to be doing. The mobile gameplay part seemed to be working pretty well, though, and I liked the spooky audio.

The file size for this download was very large, and I couldn't get the game to run :( The environment assets and lighting in the screenshots look nice though.

This was a fun challenge! It took me a few tries to get through all the levels, but it didn't feel unfair or frustrating. I like the hand-drawn feeling of the artwork.

This is a cute concept! I like the twist of making everyone sad instead of happy. The music was fun, too. I felt a little overwhelmed by how many people there were to make unhappy, and how limited the speed of my character and bullets were. But overall, it felt solid!

We are aware of an issue with Station 6 (the hot one) in the current build that makes it impossible to complete.
