I’m especially happy that the atmosphere and scenery resonated with you. Creating that quiet, slightly eerie feeling of isolation in nature was one of my main goals, so hearing that it reminded you of games like Firewatch means a lot.
Thank you as well for pointing out the pacing issues and the confusion around the “freeze when being watched” mechanic. I added that mechanic because I was worried that the gameplay might feel too simple with just walking, but I agree that it ended up feeling a bit random. I’m still figuring out how to create more engaging gameplay moments without breaking the atmosphere, so feedback like this really helps.
The note about the ending feeling too fast — especially not being able to experience the morning escape — is a great point. I really like that idea and I’ll definitely think about expanding that section in the future.

fühl ich sind halt 80 prozent kleine kinder die jedem spiel überall ein stern geben ausser bei sich oder für bewertungen betteln "Dein spiel gefällt mir wäre nice würdest du meins auch bewerten" geh auf sein profil und hat überall so nen kommentar geschriben und hat nichteinmal an dem tag das spiel gedownloadet. wahrscheinlich freunde angebettelt ihnen 5 sterne zu geben oder mehre accounts bei so einer kleinen jam hat das erheblichen einfluss. Frechheit. Wird Mr luchs schon merken wenn fast alle spiele in den top 6 keine clicks mehr bringen weil sie einfach so langweilig sind. Will jetzt nicht gegen die gewinner schießen aber manche spiele könnte man in einem tag machen.
Ich vertrau diesem wettbewerb sowieso nicht ich hab das gefühl das es hier viele schmarotzer gibt die jeden überall 1 stern geben ausser sich selber es gibt viel bessere spiele als die wo gewonnen haben richtig enttäuschend mein Spiel wurde zwar schlecht bewertet aber es gibt sowieso spiele die viel besser gemacht wurden als die 6 plätze das "it feeds" 8th platz wurde ist auch unerwartet da ist mehr aufwand drinne als in allen top 6 zusammen
Also ich habe eine frage ist es ein faktor wie viele leute es bewerten oder geht es nur um die durchschnitts bewertung also wenn z.b ein spiel eine 15/15 punkte bewertung hat und eine anderes mit mehreren bewertungen im durchschnitt 11/15 hat. Weil ich sehe ein paar leute machen einfach copy und paste comments nur das man ihr spiel bewertet und das find ich blöd.
I think you should keep the PSX Shader because it looks good. The shader adds a nostalgic feel to the game, reminiscent of the classic PlayStation 1 graphics.
