I am using keyboard, not sure if you have game controller support. For me it was mostly wall jumping, it felt very difficult to control and just became frustrating. Seems gravity might be a bit much. I think if you put levels of difficulty and just adjust time and speed of game it would likely fix a lot of the issues. I would likely need to try with a game controller, it could be possible I am just not use to these types of games using keyboard (I usually only play platformers on game consoles, so very possible). Also it seems like the player gets stuck when running on tiles, maybe some issue with collision.

Appreciate you trying my game out. Ya it was frustrating to realize the button broke from the cursor capture. I should have unlocked cursor while UI was up. Ran out of time, might have had too many plans. lol... On a positive hopefully I can make a fun little game after the jam. Thanks again for checking it out.
Copy message to give info. But ya, ran out of time so it is limited and I am really disappointed that the reincarnating button broke (cursor capture) that kind of broke the game.
I may have to make a video showing things. There are 2 monsters to fight that are around the mud path. You level up, and then after you get to a certain level, you can reincarnate, which increases your exp. Your goal is to get strong enough to fight the boss (I didn't get to finish either).
One issue though the button for reincarnating broke because of the cursor capture. So will have to wait until after the game jam ratings to fix that (sucks).
The NPCs I ran out of time to complete. The knight was going to give you a special weapon. The cook was going to give you a boost that you can buy, and the adventure guild lady would have tasks for you to earn money and you can sell monster parts. There is a boss NPC but didn't have time to implement (just looks at you currently).

Love the look to it, looks fun.
Great submission, does the theme well.
It looks like a pretty promising game that I could see people liking (if you continue on it).
Maybe adding different mechanics, puzzles, like later being able to throw the small one and having longer cable, and such.
Feel like it could be a full game maybe?
Good job.
Rating this based on video (I don't run exe games on here).
It looks really nice, love the style, characters are very unique, and great way to make a game on the theme.
I think maybe adding something like hidden pickups could be cool, so you change between tasks (trying to think of something for improvement).
Great job you two, that is awesome work.
Thank you for your review, appreciate it very much.
I did just do a bug fix so that should fix the camera issue.
I also put some images up so you can kind of see how it works, to join souls to make new monsters.
Running out of time (have to travel for wife's college graduation), so I don't think I will be able to update the controls section but appreciate you taking your time to write. :)
I think everything looks and sounds good. Took a moment but figured out how to play I think. It doesn't seem like color matters, only connections (could be wrong on this), just connect two power sources to same circuit blows up the circuit. Works well. I think it just needs to be messed with more to feel fun.
Right now, I can easily just keep making small connections and keep blowing them up, If you move things wrong, there is no way to get out of it, so maybe some mechanic that lets you remove wires like wire cutters or something.
Great job, so far I think it is one of the most polished games I have seen so far.
Takes two to play, need to try to make connections while trying not to die from enemy. I think that is a good game loop, maybe just have it progress, start off really easy, with either enemy with lower health or longer spawn times and then increase it and the connections as time goes on.
Great job, neat that you adding networking.
Good job, love the music and visuals.
I think I would enjoy it much more if I could draw the lines using the mouse. Don't enjoy using the keyboard for making the lines and erasing. Maybe use either click and release approach for line (click on the node it start the line and when released if it is close to node finish line on that node), click on line erases.
Good job on your submission, looks good.
Loved the story board, I think it makes a huge difference to understand context/theme (biggest improvement to gameplay).
I think having a sound for the ability, like one for setting it and one for teleporting would be nice.
Maybe start off a little easier at start, it made me have much less fun from frustration, but some games just start off challenging so just my opinion.
Awesome job, I like what you both made keep it up.
I am a little confused on what is making it difficult?
Is the issue the cursor not getting captured so it is difficult to look around, or is it not sensitive enough for you?
Another comment said something similar, trying to understand the issue, those are the two I think sound the most likely.
If it is just capture, if you click off the screen and then click on it will capture the cursor.
Thank you for your comment, appreciate the feedback. :)
