A simple idea, executed VERY well, nicely done!

The amount of polish put into this is amazing! Sad that there aren't more levels yet, but that's just the reality of time constraints. Nice job!

Peak voice acting right here.

Dude across the table beat me by 30 seconds. Love the idea, nice job!

WOW, this art is phenomenal! Was it hand-painted?

Thank you so much for playing! You are right about optimization issues; I had to pull a ton of strings to get it looking the way it does while still running in a browser. I plan on uploading a downloadable version after the jam ends.

https://bsky.app/profile/passivestar.bsky.social Check out Passivestar on Bluesky and their website https://passivestar.xyz/. They talk a ton about how to achieve realistic and performant lighting in Godot. You can trust them because they were (partially) responsible for adding features like this to the engine!

Sorry you had trouble running it, but thank you for letting me know! I might create a downloadable version that will hopefully run much more reliably after the voting ends.

Thank you so much for playing! Godot was used for this one; all the GI is baked into lightmaps, and probes + dynamic lighting for the stuff that moves, which is how I was able to get it to run in the browser. Not exactly a one-click solution for photorealistic lighting, but with a bit of finesse it runs really well!

Really fun idea! I felt like the amount of time it took to do it was very well balanced with how long you had. One thing I would say is that sometimes you do get kinda "stuck" after landing from a launch for a second.

Clever idea! I like the art; it feels very polished.

masterpiece.

Best writing I have seen from this jam BY FAR. Narritive 10/10. I miss Sean :(

One of the few games I've seen so far with actually good ui and sound design.

Goated character designs. The dialogue is pretty great too!

I like the simple art style!

Interesting... I tested it on a Mac and it worked fine. Sometimes you also need to click the game window and then press Q because Itch has a separate mouse-locking/unlocking system. Thank you for letting me know!

I really like your speeding up time idea... might steal that lol.

Thank you for playing!! Unsurprisingly, we actually had more features and levels planned, but didn't have enough time to implement them.

Really cool idea! This could definitely be a full-sized game!

This is something we would have done if we had more time. The number of level designs we had to cut out just due to time constraints is a bit of a bummer.

very well polished! cant say I fully understand it, but I can always appreciated a real eye for quality.

very relaxing, I like the colors.

Dang, that difficulty ramps up fast! Good job

this art is really cool, and the movement is superb once you get the hang of it

Didn't think I'd be pelting a dude with onions today... 10/10, would stab again

wow, these visuals are incredible! the movement is really clean as well.

This is a cool Idea! There are a few examples of off-color palettes and Mixels here and there, but other than that, it's pretty great!

tuff

press R to restart a level, i know its kinda unintuitive, but its all i had time for. 😅

Nice writing.

I know! auto restart was absolutely something I wanted to add, but ran out of time :(

This is so underated, W game.

Nice color palette!

cool gam, i died alot

nice lil rhythm game, had me stressed outta my mind 10/10

kar go vrooooooooom

Crazy cool core gameplay mechanic! i audibly gasped when the borders of the screen started moving.

Very nice little game! has good foundational gameplay.

There are some sound effects! albeit not that many, and they are pretty quiet...
