I really enjoyed the game, it's super fun!  If I had one small suggestion, it would be to extend the melee attack range just a little bit — but honestly, it's a blast to play. Great job!

Thanks :3!

Yeah I think for speedrunning it could work by polishing things and balancing and adding other improvements, thanks for the feedback :3!

Yeah I didn't have much time to polish things unfortunately, but I'm glad you like the loop, I think with more time something interesting could come out of this like an incremental platformer kind of thing, and yeah I also have no idea why that was happening after jumping and I couldn't figure out how to fix it :'v

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed the 'army building' loop and liked the little orcs.

You’re absolutely right about the balance. Adding a reward or bonus for defeating knights is a great idea—it would give players a much stronger incentive to engage in combat rather than just running past them.

Regarding the skeleton's dialogue, I see your point. My intention with the pauses was to give the story and the theme more weight and impact, but I totally understand how it can break the game's flow and become a bit tedious after a while. Finding that balance between narrative and pacing is definitely something I'll look into future games!

Also, love the suggestion for the 'Game Over' screen—'Your army WILL rise again!' fits the vibe perfectly.

Thanks for playing and for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback!

I have now included a detailed credits section in the game page. All third-party assets used from creators like 2bithax, Pixel_Poem, and AstroBob are properly attributed. Thank you!

Not all of them are mine, I'll give credit; they're all free from Itchio.

Ty <3. The tree-cutting SFX is actually my voice sped up XD

I really like those simple graphics, they’re very cute.

I really like the visual style of the 2D section, and the transition is very well done. The 3D part is a bit laggy in the browser, but overall it’s really cool.

I quite like how the character’s movement feels and the level design, although having the death transition happen without needing to press the R key would make the game faster and more frenetic, in my opinion.
