Thank you for the feedback! We’re definitely taking note since couple of others have also commented on wanting more gameplay. We’re actually a two-person team, but yes, our schedules were particularly busy for March so we unfortunately didn’t have as much time as we wanted to dedicate.

That being said, we did have more ideas that we had to cut for time,  But if we decide to develop this further, we definitely want to add those elements to enhance gameplay.

Noted on the bugs, thank you! Glad that you still had fun at least.

Thank you for playing!

Interesting concept! I like the contrast between the theme and the brighter colors used for the artwork.

Just a note on the UI audio, sometimes it was too soft that I wasn't sure if what I was clicking was giving me feedback.

Good job, and congrats on completing the jam!

Congrats on completing the jam! The art is cute and all the visual elements work really well together.

For a bit of critique, the way the text was setup made it difficult to read. The typing effect is fine, but it would have been better if the paragraph was anchored instead of readjusting based on how much of the text was revealed. There's also a bit of dependence on telling the story through text, so that kind of suffered because of the text speed.

The transition to the gameplay itself was also a tad long. I thought that I could start clicking, but the transition was still active.

But all in all, good job, and good luck on the jam!

Really enjoyed the silliness of the game! The art and audio really contributed to the overall tone as well.

Minor suggestion, I wonder if it would have been possible to have the option to have "A" and "D" for movement (then this would add another level of difficulty for the burping minigame), or maybe even the mouse buttons or tracking.

But once again, great game, and congratulations on completing the jam!

Thank you so much! Glad to hear you found some of the secrets; we really enjoy telling stories through the mechanics and the gameplay.
Happy to hear that the atmosphere we were going for came through as well.

Thanks for playing!

Loved the art style you went with, and the audio was clean as well!

Gameplay and mechanics were straightforward and intuitive. Sometimes the physics would make the box roll over, but that's just a nitpick.

Congratulations on completing the jam!

Fun audio and art! Really enjoyed the humor that you put into the game as well.

Ran into a couple of bugs where I accidentally got soft-locked when I clicked stuff while the dialogue was still going, but otherwise, had a fun run!

Congratulations on completing the jam!

Love the concept! Definitely just a clicker game don't click the shop

I applaud on how you were able to create an unsettling transition when you switch over to the survival horror part after clicking the shop

Great game, and congratulations on completing the jam!

Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed putting things in the box! Yes, the customers in this world are a bit...specific.

Thanks for playing!

Thank you! Happy to hear your feedback.

We had so many ideas for the gameplay that we parsed down for time, but we were able to include the core idea we wanted at least. I think if we end up expanding this game we'd be able to further polish up the gameplay loop and revisit some of the ideas that we had to temporarily shelve. (...pun not intended, but it's there!)

 Thanks for playing!

I really enjoyed the mechanic of jumping from paper to paper. The art style you chose definitely fits the overall tone of the game as well.

Since this is a game jam, I'm aware that there's not as much time as we'd like to polish our games, so the following suggestions are just for if you decide to refine this game further after the jam ends:

- the movement is a bit "floaty." it kind of feels like you're underwater at times. Tightening the movement would definitely lend well to how it plays.

- the font choice, while stylistic, isn't the most legible for the dialogue text. I'd suggest using the styled font mostly for labels, but for longer text, use a font that's easier to read.

But, at the end of the day, fun game, and great concept!

Thanks so much! We’re glad to get feedback regarding ease/difficulty and how to improve the mechanics. Pre-placed tiles is definitely something we’re considering should we end up building the game more, as well as other possible challenge/obstacles to add more complexity.

Thanks for playing!

Ooh! That’s a good take read, while not a direct inspiration, map/tile building games similar to Tsuro definitely inspired the style and the mechanics. We’re considering building this game up a bit more now that the jam is done and we’re looking into improving the tile designs and mechanics so that there are less wasted pieces, so thanks so much for the feedback!

Thank you! Happy to hear that others like the idea.

Noted on the limited tile variety. Based on the feedback we've been getting, as well as our own testing, we're definitely prioritizing improving this mechanic as well as making challenges in terms of completing a track.

We had fun making this game though! Even if we unfortunately had to shelve some of our more complex ideas due to the limited time, we're happy to hear that people are having fun with it and appreciate all the feedback. :D It'll definitely be useful in case we're able to revisit this and flesh it out further.

Thanks for playing!

Glad you like the part with the car requirements! That's an idea we had early in the brainstorming process and really want to flesh it out more with different cars and track compatibilities.

Noted with the tile drawing as well. We're already further brainstorming on how to improve the RNG and how everything plays together instead of just placing bad tiles on the edge.

Really appreciate the feedback, and thanks for playing!

Happy to hear you had fun with it! Sorry to hear about the RNG, that was a challenge we were tweaking right up until the end because in one of our earlier iterations, the corners just wouldn't appear, so we ran into similar hiccups.

This is definitely something we've been noting though! We both had a lot of fun with the game, so we're taking notes of everyone's feedback in case we decide to polish it a bit more after the jam.

Thanks for playing!

Hi there! Thank you so much for your feedback.

Yes, we ran into roadblocks in the browser compatibility version, plus we challenged with this being our first 3D game, so there was a lot of learning in the process. We still wanted to submit what we were able to make though!

Everyone’s feedback has been very useful so far especially with the tips and considerations that we missed. We’re definitely taking note and will apply it for whenever we get a chance to work on something like this again.

Thank you for your comment and feedback! It’s really useful since it’s our first time trying to make a game like this, so we’re noting down the additional considerations that we missed.

We did try to follow the theme, and tried to craft a game around an audio-based concept, but ran into some unexpected challenges since this is also our first foray into 3d. So like you observed, the game leans more toward a visual impaired character. But we still wanted to submit it though!

Everyone’s comments are very helpful and if we try joining the next one we’ll definitely have more experience and notes as to how to make a more accessible experience.

Thank you again for your feedback!

Hello! Thanks so much for your comment, it’s really appreciated.

Regarding the accessibility, we recognize that we unfortunately fell short of that. We wanted a audio-based game but unfortunately ran into unexpected hiccups since this is our first time trying 3D, so we bit off more than we could chew unfortunately. We still wanted to submit it regardless since we didn’t want the hard work to go to waste, and are taking this as a learning experience, so we really appreciate the critique and feedback!

Also happy that despite the challenges, you still enjoyed what we were able to end up uploading. For sure if we tackle something like this again once we have more experience we’ll work more on improving how we approach it.

Thanks again for your feedback!

Thank you! Glad you had fun and enjoyed the upgrades. 😁

Thank you so much, we’re happy to hear that! We originally wanted to do a bonus system to add seconds to the run, but shifted to the upgrade system to stay within the 12 seconds. 😃

Glad you enjoyed it! Congrats on the high score as well. 😁

Can’t rate other’s games either. Maybe the organizers are waiting to open it since submission deadline just passed?

Interesting concept and I like that you can manually calculate and estimate on the map itself. I'm not sure if it's just my browser, but I ran into a bug where the dialogue text is flickering on top.

Otherwise,  I like the atmosphere and music as well! Definitely adds to the tone of the game.
