When pausing the game when a screen shake effect is happening, the screen shake effect will persist until the game is unpaused. This can easily be triggered by pausing during a dash. (Which will also cut off the dash) But it can also be triggered by using the knife (Albeit the timing is more tricky) and when Bibliothecarius throws down his explosives.
