As it's your game you should have the music be what you want it to be, but I was saying in general, shooter games have a more fast paced upbeat tune as opposed to the calming wistful one you have. However subverting expectations isn't always bad and the game should be what you want it to be. Thanks for taking the time to respond! Best of luck in the Jam!

It felt very slow paced most of time due to slow movement and also the music. Which I think negatively impacted the experience because you want a shooter game to feel faster. Good idea for the theme application. I liked how you went one step further than spin the wheel to get an upgrade with having to choose between two upgrades. It would have been better if there were more upgrades but since it's a game jam with limited time, I don't blame you for not having more. I think increasing movement speed and making the music less calm and peaceful would go a long way.
