To bypass this bug simply click on ''New Game'' and then choose to start directly from '' Episode 4'' and this scene will play out just fine and you'll be able to continue the game.

This bug occurs because you're not a new player and your old saves ( the saves you made before the final update came out) aren't compatible.

1- Mirall arrived to the timeline to find Butterfly and stop him. She was there for a few months by the time she went missing. The reason she enrolled in Sandy High school was to keep an eye on her parents and make sure they are safe and also to make sure they end up together without her directly intervening.

2- A time branch is where millions/billions of timelines converge together regardless of their point of origin.

3- This game has 2 T.S.R . the first version that Mirall used was created by the future version of the MC. The second version was created by Butterfly.

4- The thing about Mirall meeting the MC before and him losing his memory was covered in a web story I wrote back in 2018 called '' Happiness 0'' here's the link if you want to read it:

There are no plans for a Linux version due to the game engine. No idea about Linux compatibility tools since I'm not really familiar with Linux..

You can get Ending A by choosing ''Refuse'' instead of '' Go after Athena'' in the choice you get after arriving to the village for the first time.

1-Time branches are basically where a huge amount of timelines converge. In your example if you wake up in the morning and have a choice to either go to school or go back to sleep this creates 2 timelines (  Timeline A and Timeline B) however you have to keep in mind that you are not the only human presented with this choices, millions if not billions of people in your timeline get this choice too which creates billions of variations and timelines.

These timelines constantly converge and diverge the moment another choice is presented to you and every other human in your timeline.

2- In Happiness 1: Remake Butterfly is in his late 40's.

3- Mirall does know Butterfly, she been trying to stop him from destroying time branches for a while before the events of Happiness 1: Remakes.

For a first playthrough, I would recommend playing the current versions found in my profile and once you finish the series and want more ''Happiness'' then you can check out the non-remastered versions.

The Happiness forever is a very nice touch, I almost forgot it exists haha
