Hey everyone!

We now have a Discord server for One Game A Week Jam:

https://discord.gg/wYTXBYpB

The Discord is meant to be a casual community space for people participating in the jam, following along, or thinking about joining in future weeks.

You can use it to:

  • Share progress updates
  • Ask questions about the weekly challenge
  • Post screenshots, devlogs, and rough builds
  • Get feedback on your game
  • Talk through ideas before submitting
  • Share tools, assets, workflows, and lessons learned
  • Encourage other developers trying to finish small games each week

The main goal of this jam is momentum: make small games, finish them, learn from them, and come back the next week to do it again. The Discord is there to make that process feel a little less like yelling into the void, which game development already provides in generous quantities.

A few quick reminders:

  • Keep feedback constructive.
  • Credit assets, tools, code, plugins, fonts, music, and AI use where relevant.
  • No NSFW, hateful, stolen, or harassing content.
  • Label sensitive content, flashing lights, loud sounds, or accessibility concerns.
  • Be kind to beginners and helpful to other developers.

Participation matters more than perfection. Finished, unfinished, weird, tiny, experimental, and “I learned something even though this broke in three places” projects are all welcome.

Come hang out, share what you’re making, and help keep the weekly game-making machine alive.
