while the creator suggests deleting your saves and app data before downloading each new update, I personally find it unnecessary most of the time, if you don’t mind a bug or 2, unless you have accidentally clicked that you’re under 18. Try downloading the newest update and see if it work, if not I can tell you how to delete everything

both day 4 and 5 are completely free. when you download a game on itch.io it gives you the suggestion to tip the creator and i think that's what you did. instead of choosing to leave a tip, you can click " no thanks, just take me to the downloads" right above the tip amount box

if you go to the 1st save section then hit the up arrow twice it'll show you the auto saves, which happen everytime you have a choice

if you scroll back/page up on your mouse it should take you back to the last option so make sure your cursor is positioned right where the last one was then scroll back/page up

Almost all of the endings end with you having to go on stage and make a speech(except for the special ends,  which you can check the requirements for in the endings sections in the extras screen). The endings are almost solely based on your reputation with each house. For each character you have to build your reputation with each house throughout the playthrough , and once you have enough reputation with a house you can choose that house's leader during the speech scene and that house will prevent you from dying after.
