Hey,

I had a little time to delve into all this, I’m finishing to print all the stuff, very excited, I’ve planned to play without GM that’s why "a few" questions emerged (I'm not a native English speaker so maybe some of them aren't relevant):

 

CARACTER SHEETS :

- Have you made character sheets with their skills fulfilled? in particular with their corresponding expertise, strength, courage, insight? It’s not easy to be objective

 

ITEMS :

- How many items does a character can bring? (it’s mentioned +2items if you got a backpack)

- I can't seem to grasp the purpose/advantage of the radio. Does it allow you to take control of the character contacted by radio? It seems complicated to reach them before the signal is lost (chance of maintaining contact each turn is 1/6)

 

MOVEMENTS:

Regarding movement, it seems that it should be divided into intra-hexagon movement (a kind of action) and inter-hexagon movement.

- Once the first Chaos card is played/attacked, the player can decide to move one hexagon (if on foot) or to move twice within that hexagon if the terrain allows it (example: go to a building and climb it). Is that right?

- How would you manage this situation : If there’s a closed building, player1 will go to the door (1st action) and then unlocks it with the key he has (2nd action), then he stays outside of the building for this turn (can’t do more action), player2 will go to the door (1st action) and enter (2nd action) or can he directly enter the building (and count as just one action)?

- During an attack, if all players move to another hexagon, do you have to draw an additional chaos card?

- On page 42 it is said that movements are reduced depending on the terrain: river, climbing fences, etc. Can you give an example?

- With an helicopter, do you move more than 2hex?

 

ACTIONS :

- Repairing equipment (p42) : How to? With what item? How to decide if it’s a success?

- When there is a search icon (magnifying glass) for example in a building, can all players try their luck one after the other or do you consider that a single search is sufficient?

- Is it possible to sedate/put an Apex to sleep (you can't kill it)?

- Page 57: Can you tell me more about how to apply a penalty or bonus when weapons are used (a child uses it or a scientist without expertise)?

 

VEHICLES :

- There seem to be two versions for determining whether or not the keys are present on the vehicle: p59 (probability 1/6) and p131 (probability 1/2).

- Do you use anything to manage the vehicles' fuel consumption?

- How do you materialize a possible malfunction of electric vehicles on a hexagon with water (simply halve the movement or roll a die to cause a breakdown?)?

- Searching for items in vehicles: I found two pieces of information, one mentioning the discovery of an item on a roll of 6, and the other mentioning two items on a roll of 1, one item on a roll of 2, and no items on a roll of 3-6.

Some questions here :

- How many chaos, attack, dinosaurs do you have to print, I mean do you need multiple copies of the same card in your draw pile?

- Are there files (scenarios, dinos, locations,...) for the isla sorna version (found a map on a google drive) ?
