Hey, guys!! I've scrolled through several topics on this page, but I want to sum up where we are right now. Going down the rabbit hole a little, we're taken to the website: https://thevoidfiles.com/, which links a YouTube video and several other documents. Earlier on in the rabbit hole, Lixian tells us that "clues" are scattered throughout Mark's video. It's midnight and I have work at 5am, so I'm not going to poke around through his entire video, scanning relentlessly quite yet.
A few pointers, though: I scanned the entire inspect element page of the website to try to find any hidden... anything. I'm absolutely no expert, so maybe somebody whose good at recognizing things could take a look. All of the links just let to squarespace pages, which, to my knowledge, amounts to absolutely nothing.
There's also, obviously, the "Machine" game (another game listed on itch.io), which eventually just leads to the void files website. I don't think there's anything else in the files of this game, but again, I'm no expert, and just started looking through this ARG because it piqued my interest.
Hopefully other people can meticulously comb through Mark's video and discuss their findings!
Thanks!
Edit: I just realized this is literally the itch.io page you arrive at when inputting that link, so including that information in my post was basically useless.
Edit 2: Yeah... the passcode for thevoidfiles page is 1000_Split_Snakes_Will_Rise, which you gather from playing Lixian's, "Machine."
Edit 3: I'm not actually sure if Lixian left clues in Mark's video on his game or some other video prior to that. Considering "Machine" was made several, several months ago, I'm willing to bet the next clues quite literally are scattered throughout Markiplier's videos following the release of Iron Lung (as that's when he returned to content creation). But, that's so, so many hours of content and I don't even know what I'm looking for. Also, admittedly, it may be hard to find a "code" (or something similar) in really any of his Resident Evil videos, as there's so much on the screen constantly. I'll probably go blind staring at pixels for hours on end before I make even the slightest bit of progress... But, maybe the code, or whatever we're looking for, is super mega obvious and all of us are just too invested into Mark's content to even notice. Who knows? Not me... that's for sure.
