if this is your first game I'd recommend godot, but if you're comfortable with unity use that instead, it really comes down to personal preference

That's going to be awesome! I'll definitely play that when it comes out

Thanks for playing! The engine automatically binds Gameboy controls to z as a and x as b, and I didn't have time to figure out how to change it lol. Which is why I recommend playing with a controller or on mobile.

Great game! Only thing that could make it better is some sort of indicator to see how far you go. I love the art!

Cool game, took me a minute to figure it out but once I did it was a good time

Cool game, I only wish you could move a bit faster

Honestly it's a great concept, great job! I love how similar the character is to the one in my submission (especially the original version I made in scratch, even uses the same controls lol)

Thanks for playing! I kinda threw together the music last minute, and that's the first music I've ever made for anything. It will absolutely haunt my dreams too

thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it! Unfortunately I was running into performance issues when I tried to speed up the gameplay, obviously the Gameboy isn't very powerful, and the engine I used isn't the most optimized for platformers

Thanks for playing! Yeah,  the controls are a bit awkward, sorry about that

Thanks for playing!

thanks for playing! Yeah, if I continue development I'm definitely going to tweak the physics.

So there's lore, don't worry too much about it.

Also, this was my first time making a Gameboy game (yes it runs on official Nintendo hardware if you have a flashcart)

Neat

This is my favorite gameboy homebrew out there.

neat

Yeah, I purposely left out coyote time to more closely match the horrible physics in the original scratch game. Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Cool game, took me 10ish minutes to beat. there were a couple scenes that were different that I couldn't figure out why though lol.

Cool, gives me atari ET vibes but is a much better game

That was planned, but the end level screen was finished 5 minutes before I had to submit the game lol. There are 13 in total. It tells you at the end if you get all of them. Thanks for playing!

We will be adding more levels to this game and polishing it up since we ran out of time in the jam. Stay tuned!

Great game, I really wish you had time to make it longer. I love single screen puzzle games games like this

thanks for playing!

This was not a solo effort! Credit goes to: DBAC(art),  Lemonz(music), Yazel(level design) and myself(janky code)

Cool game, had fun. I played it for around 10 minutes. took me a bit to figure out what I was doing though with the angle and pixelization lol. Also just so you know, the top half of the ui gets cut off on an ultrawide monitor

Cool game

Nice puzzle game! I love the dialog so much lol. Especially that last one is relatable

I was just playing your game LOL

weird, it works for me. the game probably isn't worth your time though anyway
