Found a bug, it seems after completing the first game's content the game refuses to load sometimes. The "global data" file was empty (size: 0B) so I tried deleting that and it seemed to work, so I'd guess that's getting corrupted at some point.

Janellyn (the casino succubus) didn't seem to join when supposed to. Probably a bug or maybe I haven't completed enough of the story line?
