Yep, AI was used to generate the background scenarios due to the lack of budget and tight deadlines for this project XD. It was mostly to speed up development and design. However, the character portraits were entirely hand-drawn (thanks to a friend of mine) and combined with a few modular assets created by other artists here on itch. Most people agree that using AI images in game design is a bad idea, I do too, so future projects won’t include a single AI-generated image ;)
