The Dungeon Hero zines are staples of weekly gaming for me. I adore the quaint look of them, the teeny booklet format, and most of all the gameplay. You made a fantastic little game here and you have earned all the accolades!

Printed and played several times. Only took a few minutes to play (5-10). What a simple yet effective game! After a few empty path squares in a row, I actually get nervous for finding a monster. I printed this on light cardstock (the kind that goes through a cheap printer easily) and that gave the cards some rigidity. Thanks for sharing this with everyone!

All of that sounds brilliant. Can't wait to play it. Take your time though. The 36-word version is very fun as is and it fit nicely into my lunch break at work so Bingo! Thanks for that!

I played through this. It took me about 45 minutes to write a short story of sorts using the prompts from the cards. This is a fun premise and I enjoyed playing it. I will definitely play it again.

If you do make a Version 2, perhaps adding some direct prompts to help facilitate the game more (e.g. Aces are plot twists or something like that). I used Jokers when I played and treated them as "attacks" from the lurking entity in my story. They are too few so I might improvise something else next time I play.

Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing this with everyone!
