Really unique experience, the compositions are really soothing , nice job !

I actually tried to implement drums, and i would have uploaded the drum version if it was what i wanted it to sound like, but when i tried to take the drums off, i found it way better fitting the scene i had in mind. I think my mistake here is the text ^^ The scene i have in mynd is way calmer than a regular epic fight, I went quite the opposite way, to make it feel important ! ( exemple : the actual fight fight music from almost every souls game is epic, drums, full orchestra right BUT the final boss, often have a much calmer music, to make the player THINK about his actions more than just fighting ! )

I hope you got the point and that you could re listen to it with maybe a clearer vision of my imaginary game ! ( tell me if  you re listen, i'll love to hear a 2nd point of view !! )

Anyway, thank you so much for the comment, have a great day !!

Thank you very much, in the first piece i really tried to make the piano " breathe " by taking long pauses as our characters would like to enjoy the moment a little longer :)

In the second track, i added a 4 violins legato section that is pretty much carrying the whole thing haha !

Bro wtf I'm almost in tears, this is the first time someone ever compares my work to Joe Hisaishi's.. he definitely is my n°1 inspiration and everytime I discover a new piece from him I wish I could write it haha.. even if I am faaaar away from his level, your comment really hit me a lot, thank you for that 🙏

The B major chord would happen when the character arrives at the beach and sees the beauty of the sunset ( which is soon replaced again by the minor one when she dances  ), I'm glad you noticed it :D

For the 2nd track, I tried to implement the main motif from the 1st one, but didn't have time to make it sound as I would like it to, so I kinda let it as it was, but I'll definitely work on it again ( after the jam ratings end, when I'll have some time :) )

Thank you again 😁

Thank you so much !!! I hope to see your next  works in upcoming jams !

Thank you so much ! I really appreciate your feedback !

The 2nd art is basically the scenery from the 2nd music in an abstract style where i represented the bushes, and the moonlight as i was imagining them. Even if it's absolutely not what the fictionnal game would look like, i came up with this :)

you can check a better version and an other one from the 1st music here if u want :) https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ZlbnLZ

I would have LOOOVED to put a 4 stars somewhere but unfortunately i had to 5/5 everywhere :') everything from the overall impression to the storytelling was just crazy, i dont know how you guys managed to pull such a classic in a week !

This is not my favourite type of music, but this is so unique ! I had quite a good time listening to the whole soundtrack, and it rly fits the story / gameplay you wrote, nice job !

Hell yeah, some frenche lore here i love that ( i'm french but the myths in my area are wayyy less cool ngl )

The storytelling in your tracks is absolutely insane, i would definitely love to be playing a game with this music playing. I really enjoy the cover art too !

I think my favourite one is the first one : Ouverture, as it sets the mood perfectly  for the 2 others coming and the universe you depicted, really good job !

Thank you so much for the feedback, i appreciate that !

I would have loooved to work a little longer on the cellos of the 2nd track, or even add some subtle spiccattos in the background but i had no more time :')

Ye my friend's art kinda carried me for the artistic direction, if you like her style you can check the insta, amazing work here !

( Thanks for the feedback !! )

Haha me too ( I wonder why O_O ) i felt the influence in the winds the most, thas was really mastered

Damn i love it ! very "Genshin-y" in the orchestration, the call of adventure really hits..

( I knew it was gonna be fire when i saw the screenshots were scores .. )

I had a really good time listening to your whole soundtrack, it feels like it could be the whole soundtrack of an indie 10/15 min game and i love that !

Your  use of the orchestra reminds me the hollow knight's soundtrack ( on of my favourites ) so ye, that is such an amazing work good job !!

Ye i thought about it too, but couldn't make it work in such a short time, ( i started this one yesterday morning and barely finished it haha ) Thanks for your feedback !

Some big band classics here ngl.. I'm so impressed on how you make those sax and trumpets sound realistic !

I absolutely love the grand summer prix opening, it feels so summer - ish ( ? )

I had a great time listening your tracks, i'd love to see you on other themes one day !

Two very soothing pieces of music, which perfectly match the description you gave, I rly enjoyed listening to both of them even if i have my preference over Indigo haze one summer night, for its warm plucky guitar, and athmospheric reverb, Nice job !!

Thank you so much for the feedback ! What i called an epic fight is more something like an important fight maybe, with huge consequences, and our character knows it.

I was so surprised too when i first found this vst, Cello being my fav instrument i put it in every track, i looove writing for them !

First of all, the intro is amazing.

THEN, the rest of your tracks are amazing too !!

I really like the " walking simulator " game vibe, it really fits in this, however very different from the themes covered in an other walking game such as death stranding.

My personal favourite is the 2nd one with the bouncy little notes ona piano, and a river.. I love how it's both relaxing and inspiring, GREAT JOB !!!

8 songs my bad

Holy i dont know how you managed to finish 7 songs in such a short time, that's crazy ! I really enjoyed my listen through your whole ost, i loved how it clearly depicted your synopsis, that's such a great job !

My personal favourite is Love you, Farewell, the subtle piano like that is really my thing not gonna lie :)

Well, i guess i have to solve criems now i've listened to this :/

Nah jokes appart, the overall listen was absolutely fantastic, i especially loved the 1st and last track, this is some crazy intro you cooked here !

I find the overall composition and storytelling absolutely crazy, i really loved that ! Perhaps it would have desserved a piano with a better sample quality to give it more texture, but it's quite a detail, GOOD JOB !

The visuals are crazy for this ammount of time, and the polish is great too, i barely had no bug except the tiny animation bug when you change too fast

Really good job !

This game was very funny to play, very ballatro-like addicive WP

This game is beautiful and have good music :)

however, i think the controls were pretty rough to get

That was a pretty funny experience, I rly like that type of games and it was pleasant to play :)

You could maybe maybe change the controls a bit, so the character dont have to turn around and move towards the ennemies to kill them.

Nice game !

Pretty cool game, i loe the visuals and music fits quite well too !

I also think that healthbars or maybe 1 more spell to increase the number of possibilities would have been great, but it's such a great job in 1 week !!

absolute cinema

HI !! i'm a music composer and i'd like to participate the jam ! tell me if you're interrested :D

Hi i'm Filou i'm a composer i'd like to participate in this jam, dont hesitate to send me a msg on discord ( .placard ) and check my soundcloud if needed : https://soundcloud.com/felix-chevron-488351023  :D

Thank you so much ! i just tried re mixing with your ( and other ) advices, and it's way better already ! i cant really record it again for now but i'll try it later :) thx !!

Haha yeah I have a bad mic but tried it anyways. I thought that if I didn't try it now I would never try singing x)

Thanks for your feedback if I do it again I'll try puting more time in my mixing :)

Hi ! i really liked all your tracks, especially th e2nd one that fits a more serious and ambient vibe.

I think that you could try to play more with the velocity and volume of the notes for example the harp in your third track is repetitive ( which is good ) but with a little more variations in the volume, expression and stuff it could give it an other sound. ( kinda same with the piano on the first one )

Hope i could help you with this feedback :) have a great day !

Haha thx ! For the vocals, it was actually my 1st time recording myself, I thought that I could at least try ( nothing to lose you know ) but ye the singing is not great and same for the mix 😅 I'll do better next time

ye ahah i tried to go on an original way with the pirate thing :) also sry for ur speakers x) didnt noticte the volume difference.
