At first, I thought you would die when the number countdown reached zero. I later realized that the countdown actually reveals the coordinates instead.

If the game gets expanded further, I think it could be interesting to add something like a radar system, allowing players to calculate the opponent’s coordinates and fire more actively and strategically.

The overall art concept is great. Good game!

You understood my intention exactly! The whole idea actually started from “does blackjack really need a dealer?”

I agree that the randomness is still a bit high right now. In earlier versions, I actually experimented with Balatro-style jokers and expanding the target score beyond 21. I ended up scaling back the scope to keep things manageable for this release, but if the response is good, I’d love to expand on those ideas.

Thanks so much for playing and for instantly picking up on the core concept!

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, the early balance is still pretty rough, so luck can definitely carry a run right now. Glad you liked the art and sound.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Good point! The card values and bottom effects need clearer explanation. I tried to keep the screen minimal, but it seems I went a bit too far in that direction. I’ll work on making the mechanics easier to understand without cluttering the UI.

Glad you liked the visual style and overall atmosphere.

It’s like Papers, Please meets trains. If you’re a fan of Papers, Please, you’ll definitely enjoy this.

Also, seeing a leaderboard in a game jam entry was a fresh touch.

Great game.

Thanks for the feedback!

First of all, I apologize for the lack of clarity in the game. I should have added more descriptions for each element, but I was quite pressed for time during the jam.

That screen is actually for upgrading cards. I’ll add a “Card Upgrade” title if I keep working on this. The 66% button is cheap but risky (if it fails, the card is gone), while the 100% button is safe but expensive.

You’re right about the hearts. they’re just remaining turns. “Turn 3/3” would’ve been way more intuitive.

This is my first jam and I’m having a blast! I’ll make sure to check out your game too.
