how are you all doing? what progress have you made, and what are you hoping to do next?

i'll start - as the artist and programmer for my team (others are playtesters or a music writer), i've been focusing mainly on the programming. i have working movement, a framework for dialogue, a music handler, and more prepared! none of it's flashy yet, but i'll be thanking myself later, i think. what about you?

i love the spritework! unfortunately, i couldn't get past the first room, as it requires *holding* left click. i use a trackpad, and while i managed to activate an animation once, i couldn't get it to work again. i'd love to give it another shot if there's ever an alternate keybind added!

this was cute! my thoughts overall:
the models are cute, the sounds are nice though i wish i'd been able to quiet the pigeon coos a bit. i ran into some frustration at points (completely unable to move when i got jammed into a corner of the sewer, for one; "blind jumps" with the roof and lilypads before collecting the frog for another) but even with being forced to restart the entire game and then adding my commentary at the end, my recording was only ten minutes long. it's a nice quick game if you need a break from the 50,000 hour RPGs floating around!

[if there's any way to privately message you all, i'd be happy to include a link to my unlisted footage (since i know seeing that sort of thing can help with finding issues). i'd just rather not clutter up my main channel with short gameplay!]
