I was absolutely ecstatic when I saw one of my favourite VN's being updated. I thought I couldn't love another man more than Brandon, but Lucas literally tore through my heart and defences with his sharp teeth.

Blooming Panic is one of those immaculate games that make you love every one of the characters, including those who aren't the love interests!
In terms of the LI, I love how they were constructed like real people. Like us, we seem to fit in a certain 'vibe', but other details eventually get released - such as a painful history that allowed us to shape ourselves into someone we can accept and truly love. Basically, I really appreciated how they didn't seem to just fit into a certain trope of LI.
For the side characters, I also love how we got glimpses into who they are as well as their values! And I especially love how they weren't forgotten with each play through, as they each had their time to shine and also have small bits and pieces of them revealed in other play throughs that they might not have been as prominent in.
Because of this, this is one of the few games that I continually enjoyed throughout each playthrough!
P.S. I think the opening bg song is also very neat, as each LI's story in the game had a time to shine, but was in a way that was very smooth and interlinked.

To Eat A God has quickly climbed up to my all-time favourites list, and I cannot recommend it enough.
The highlights would have to be the mechanics of this game, which made me truly feel as if I was the 'puppet' that I was playing. Similar to how puppets can be created and destroyed over and over again, we as the players are forced to sometimes not make the right choices to get closer and closer to acquiring perfection (in this case, knowledge of the broader world which we are in, which absolutely boggled my brain).
I don't want to spoil anyone who has yet to pick up this game, but if you want a game that leaves you on the edge of your seat and constantly wanting for more, this is it!
If you love otome games where characters feel like they truly exist in the world you are immersing yourself in, this is it.
Dark Nights has truly been the most memorable game for me, as I feel like as I am growing to know how to survive better in the circumstances that the MC is tossed in, the characters are also 'growing'. Even after completing the character specific routes, I find myself being able to learn more aspects about them in other routes, allowing me to have a deeper emotional understanding and attachment towards each of them.
Often, in my experience, I found myself playing otomes where characters only existed in their route, which took me outside of the immersive experience as it felt like I was being pigeon holed to only one person.
(Note: I played in the advised order of Kurato > Sachiro > Zeikun > Junoru. For Kurato on my first play through, I died. However, the hints provided allowed me to gain one of the romantic endings for Sachiro on my first play through, the same for Zeikun as well. However, for Junoru, I got to two death endings before I managed to achieve a romantic end. The fact that I couldn't be perfect also made the playing experience even more real, and I am currently aiming to try and complete all the possible endings).
