Thanks for the feedback! You can reset levels in the pause menu

Nice flash style, nostalgic

Very nice!

Beautiful visuals and great interpretation of the theme/object

Clever interpretation of the theme, fun gameplay loop

Lovely visuals

(1 edit)

This is amazing, best theme implementation so far and amazing puzzle design. Honestly this is the type of thing I was trying to go for with my game, but I couldn't manage such clever puzzle design in the 3 day workspan; I am happy to see that at least someone managed to pull off this type of cool level design. The visuals are maybe the only part that seems a bit less developed than the rest of the game, but the simple style serves the game very well. 10/10 loved it

This is awesome

Loved the artstyle and the sound design, the concept is very original too

Charming comedy and fun movement system, great game

Great implementation of the theme and puzzle design, very fun

10/10, clearly has a lot of love put into it. With a little bit more time to add some variety, this could be an even more fun experience

Cute visual style

Very fun and polished arcade game, some more variety in enemies could make it a bit more challenging but it's still pretty fun

It helped, thanks! Great game, only problem i ran into is that after dying the music stops playing and also the physics get a bit weird if you move platforms while a Gobbie is bouncing around. I loved the art and the sound desing

Very fun

Very creative concept, the gameplay is a bit janky but the concept is very fun

Life changing. Only issue I had, the music didn't really sync with the gameplay for me

Very cool concept, there could probably be a bit more logic behind the first couple of words you get because it's very random and the first couple of levels are almost entirely up to chance. I encountered a bug where the clock gets stuck at 1second and the level never continues after your moves are done. Great game

Question, can anyone tell me how the scrolling works exactly? I couldn't really figure it out. The game looks and sounds great, I would like to be able to give it a fair rating

Great concept, some variety in the enemy types and some polish in the gameplay feel (sound, animations, knockback maybe) could make it a lot more fun. Great sumbission, has a lot of potential

Fever dream (in the best way possible)

Very fun, great theme implementation and very unique visuals. The platforming feel was a bit off, especially when jumping since the player's hitbox is a bit bigger than the sprite. I also encountered a bug where the player gets stuck in the last time key animation (the horizontal one)

Fun game and theme implementation, the player hitbox could probably be a bit smaller (or maybe have some knockback when attacking enemies so that fighting feels a bit more fair). The boss could also have a little animation before it starts running around, to make it a bit more predictable

Thanks for the feedback! I added screenshots and stylized the page a bit to make it a bit more trustworthy

Thanks for letting me know, It should be fixed now!

Great ambiance, the rope physics feel counter intuitive when falling and that limits skill expression a bit. 3rd and 4th checkpoint at base difficulty feel too far apart, ended up quiting out of boredom/frustration in that segment the first time I played. Other than that, the concept is awesome and very well put together

Beautiful, being able to hear the soundtrack looping threw me off specially in the more climatic moments but i loved the game

Thanks for the feedback! Had to skip that type of polishing to reach to deadline, but you'll be seeing more of that on future releases :)

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it

I loved the concept of upgrading via modules, it felt a lot like some flash games I played in the past and the nostaliga really reeled me in. Some things I would recommend:

-Make the enemies harder to deal with, but augment their number throughout the rooms, otherwise the game feels quite easy
-Set the animator for the "picking up modules" panel to "unscaled time". This is because you can pause in the middle of the animation and have it freeze, which feels unnatural.

-Instead of having every gameobject use an audio source, make an "audio manager" object instead, that way you won't have the same sound effect playing in multiple instances at the same time. Right now it seems like having that many audio sources makes the game a little bit loud. (Brackeys has a pretty good tutorial on how to set up an audio manager)

Aside from that, the concept works really well and makes for a pretty fun game! Some polish like camera shaking or these corrections I mentioned would make the game really smooth. If you ever update it, i'd totally spend a couple of hours on it myself!

Thanks for the feedback! The game is still nothing special because it lacks content, given that this is just a minimum viable product, but i'll be working in some aspects to make it stand out once the beta releases come out. I'll be checking out your game, I'm a big sucker for roguelikes :)

Loved the mood, reminded me of old school flash games. I would like to see some animations for picking up items and such in the future, but as of now this seems very promising! Great job :)

Thanks for the review :) I'll take a look to fixing these issues

Fun and interesting concept, the only problem that I see is the difficulty: The earlier waves are easy, specially considering the fact that medkits spawn super often and don't despawn (Or at least they do very slowly). I would suggest making the difficulty a little bit more exponential by making the first waves harder, despawning medkits and making the following waves a little bit easier. Aside from that, great fun :)

Loved the style and the graphics, would personally preffer the sound at the start of the level to be a little bit quieter. Also the camera movement speed isn't supper comfortable at first, but i got used to it

Very original and replayable concept

I really liked the concept and the ambiance, this game has a lot of potential! Good job!

Glad you liked it :)
