Good question. I’m an admin on the discord server, which I’m bringing up  because we have a rule on AI assets there: ‘if you use generative AI in visual or audio assets, you must disclose this when posting the assets.’

Now, the server isn’t the jam and the jam isn’t the server, but extrapolating from that I’d say yes, it’s allowed, but please disclose its use. This is, of course, a personal suggestion. I’m not speaking on behalf of James (the host of the jam), who, by the looks of it, hasn’t issued any official statements yet.

Here are a couple of pictures I found on the web—great for a potential perspective game? Also, duckduckgo says they’re free to share and use, so enjoy 😊

Thank you for playing! I’m taking the opportunity to mention that one can clear columns too, not only rows, although the gravity needs to be directed either to the left or to the right.

Cheers!

Thank you very much for your feedback!

I too think that intentional placement is problematic. To make up for this pain point, I tried to direct players into placing blocks where they can rather than where they want. For instance, switching gravity makes the falling block fall a little faster, which should make precise placement even less optimal.

It would be fun to experiment with a bigger grid, but I guess that's what we get for the time being :)

Thank you for playing!

You can select the level you'd like to play via the menu. You can click on the "menu" button at the end of a game to return to the list. If a level is grayed out, it means it’s locked. You can click on it to view what’s required to unlock it.

Thank you! The game was designed to be mobile-first, so an app would definitely be enticing
