i recommend checking out GDevelop, it is easy to learn and similar to scratch in that it is "visual/no coding", if you have the time to sit down and watch half an hour of tutorials
Enemies and levels were cool once i figured out you can shoot. I feel the theme is missing (maybe you are climbing the floors of a dungeon but it isn't very obvious). Sounds were also nice.

Maybe i have a skill issue, but its quite difficult (other comments seem to be suggesting the same thing so prob not on me). Perhaps the goal was a rage inducing challenge, but i fell back to the start on the one jump quite a lot. I enjoyed the sound effects
I also made a climbing game, but in a very different way, if you'd so gratiously play it
Quite challening and fun! I urge you to keep making games and doing jams. this reminds me of my first games I love to see so many first time devs. I would suggest maybe a screen that says "you dies", or even just an animation or sound effect. The major thing is the art/graphics, but I know its not as simple as "doing better" and I love that you included animations and textures, even if they are simple.

I submitted my game! I kind of gave up on it 3 or so days ago, so I thought I should at least submit it now. Also, I hope I'm not the only submission, but I bet the 6 other people who joined won't beat my beauty.
