Hey Adalil, awesome, I’m streaming your Soundcloud right now (Solemn Town :). You should definitely join the #team-up channel on the jam Discord.

Thank you 🙌

The weird way you have to switch from trying to hit the flubronium ball to avoiding it so it builds up energy is great. And I love the way the softronium paddle moves around the corner.

Some music and sound effects, wouldn’t go amiss ;-)

This game is definitely boingy.

Fabulous! I love the art and the music and the sound effects.

If I had to pick on something, I’d say that the bounces are sometimes … odd. Now, if the eggs were slowly spinning, that would make more sense in my head.

I would rate this game as very (oddly) boingy :)

The feedback already given below is good. This game has a ton of potential, and with a bit more polish – and it already has a ton of polish – will be really good fun to play. (And try to get a web build up :))

Ski Free with power ups and a dragon? Sign me up. This game is fun and I played it a number of times to see if I could beat my score. The WEE! and the OUCH are fantastic :) Nice job on this entry and using the Boingy theme to make something that’s unexpected.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get [shift]+[click] to add additional planets, which you mention on the page, but I feel lke you could’ve found a work-around for this (hit me up on the Discord if you’d like to brainstorm this). Nonetheless, I had fun playing with the 3 initial planets and trying to get a rhythmic sound. There’s potential here.

I love the way you incorporated the tutorial into the game. Nice work. Additional levels will add to the game, some in-between the ones you have, and some more after the last. And SFX, of course :D Good effort and definitely boingy!

I think this was the first submission I played a few days ago, and my thoughts were that if this was going to be the quality of submissions in this jam, then we’ve got a great jam on our hands. I even said as much in out organizers channel. Lovely work. Well done to the whole team!

There’s a tricky platforming puzzler in here waiting to get out. The concept is great. Tons of detail in the physics and also in the way the camera moves. Please, please, please come back to this game and spend more time refining it and adding levels.

I remember playing something very similar when I was younger … wait, I just realized there’s 1, 2, 3 controls … that changes everything!

time passes

Oh yeah, that makes it much easier when there’s lot’s of babies. Nice work. Plenty of boingy.

Added music and sound effects to the Tetris tutorial, which is no mean feat, to be fair. No boingy, but that doesn’t matter. I hope you had a ton of fun making this and that it’ll inspire you to make more games. I’ll happily come back to this if I need my Tetris fix.

There’s so much attention to detail in the UI here, that’s impressive. I spent way too much playing around with this and can see myself coming back to it for a nice little break. And soooooo much boingy :D

This is an interesting take on break out that I think has a ton of potential to be developed further. For one thing, given the nature of the ball bouncing, from all the walls, the bricks don’t all have to be at the top: they could be at the bottom and sides too. You could add unbreakable bricks you have to manoeuvre around. And the direction changes could be modelled as cards that you play at the right moment to change direction. Like I said, tons of potential :D

Fantastic! Fabulous! And Boingy to boot. Seriously good work here.

My only feedback is the same as @otaconio (who seems to generally have great feedback) … Make it possible to skip ahead in the dialog faster.

Otherwise, just wow!

I said this on the Discord, but I’ll repeat again here: I love love love the camera work. So good. There’s a lot of attention to detail in general, and I bet you could develop this more. Good job.

Fun and Stupid, Stupid. Music! Art! Baaaad puns! This game has it all :D

This is your typical 5 min time waster. It’s pretty. The animations are fantastic. The music and SFX are great. It’s got boingy in spades. Love it.

(Feedback in response to @otaconio comment :D)

I jokingly wrote this in the Jam organizers channel:

we should have a rule for the next jam: if your game is entirely keyboard controlled, but i have to use the mouse to (re-)start the game, it’s disqualified and you’re not allowed to make games again until you’ve learnt your lesson, now go stand in the corner and think about what you’ve done

It’s good feedback, @otaconio :D

This is a really nice rendition of classic Breakout, and the gun addition is great to get rid of that frustration of hitting that last brick on the level. Takes me back a thousand internet years to when I played Arkanoid on the C64, that I specifically got paddles for. You could definitely develop this further in the Arkanoid direction.

I gotta admit I wouldn’t have thought of a boingy TD game, but then what do I know? It took me a minute to figure out what I was doing, especially with the Essence collection, but once I did, I spent far too long playing this. You do reach a point where you’re basically untouchable, but that’s my jam :) Great music, love it.

I too had to look up Frijoles :) Good effort, and this could also have been an entry to the 20 Second Game Jam.

I scored higher without moving than I did when I was actively trying to catch the Frijoles. That makes me wonder if something could be done to make their trajectory clearer. Maybe they just need to be slowed down a little to give you time to react?

No, you didn’t feel bad. You spammed our jam and you’ve done the same to other jams too.

Submitted to KIFASS! Jam multiple times under different users. Created https://sexy-spidey2.itch.io/spidey-loving and submitted to us AGAIN! You and your game have been reported.

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

That’s a great point. I didn’t think about mobile. I ended up playing pure trackpad, instead of using the arrow keys, because the arrow keys are awkward when using the trackpad, because I’m right handed. If z/x could be used in addition to the arrows, I would play like that and the hitboxes can stay where they are.

Ah, I missed your post. Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Definitely a great concept for a 20 second game. Love the different endings. Good job.

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoy it and that’s a pretty decent score. Praise the sun 🙌 🌅

I’m so very uncoordinated 🤣 This is a good take on the rhythm game with lots of polish. Nice work.

I would move the warning arrow a little left along with the hitbox for the right side to make it a little easier for pure mouse (or in my case, trackpad) play.

Thank you 🙏 I bet with a few more goes you can get a much higher score 😎

I actually play the game on my phone, and it works very well. I have heard that it doesn’t work great on older phones in the browser, so I may well consider doing Android and iOS builds.

Thanks, Maestro ☺️

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I used these in my submission to the 20 Second Game Jam: 20 Second Harvest. Thanks for making them 🙌

Thank you, I’m pleased with the way the sun ray blend worked out and @Alyblucat did a phenomenal job with the music.

Thank you 🙏

Removing the friction for (re)play was one of my goals. I’m happy to hear it worked :)

Did you really create a game with a mechanic to reduce the time you have left in a 20 second game? Haha :D Nice work. It’s polished, the sound effects and graphics effects are great. It plays really well.

That’s a lot to fit into 20s but it works. The music really gets the energy up. Good job.

Ok, that’s cool: mini games in a 20s game? Nice!

This is wonderfully polished. The games are easy to understand without more instruction needed. The music is catchy. The sound effects are super. I’m not sure what I would change.

I kinda like that this game is simple, using just some drawing primitives, and that you can tweak all the game variables in the settings. It’s a nice twist.
