I just updated and at least for me the issue unfortunately persists. Just to clarify the menus are functioning and interacting but the clicks are also causing movement if that helps at all.

No worries. I understand it's not a complete game yet or anything. I mainly wanted to let you know in case you weren't already aware. Keep up the excellent work and I'm looking forward to following your progress 😁

The game seems really fun but when you tap on the different tabs on the HUD it selects the tab or item but also passes the tap through to the world underneath. This makes you walk around the world while just trying to interact with menus and makes for a jarring experience trying to stay in one spot while navigating menus.
