i find it very odd that from almost 200k Saxlingham downloads that iv only seen this issue once, i believe if this was a map issue or a Giants issue that only effects Saxlingham because it never happens on any other map correct? everyone would be experiencing the issue. very difficult to fix an issue iv never seen in farm sim in over 3 years since i first started playing.. there will be a reason for it and could just be down to setting's or Pc hardware, sorry i can't help as never seen this happen..
i thought long and hard about animals and production's, i think these sort of things can easily be created by the player to accommodate personal taste?
i don't want to waste time creating these sorts of things and players don't want them, there's quite a lot of players out there that want to delete half the map including farm yards, it's quite sad from the map makers point of view as all the time spent creating the map from a real life location seems pointless to have it all deleted. there are maps such as no mans land for people that want to create there own map with in a map..
iv got a lot more spare space on Woodside being a 4x map so will probably include more animal area's and some custom productions as have a couple in mind..
glad you enjoying the map, it's a basic map based from an area that i thought would appeal because of the land scaping from the real life area.. an auto drive course? they work really well, once you place the xml in side your save game and load it up via the AD menu in game it will travel to all the destinations that have been created without issues. may need to turn traffic off now and then if they get blocked off from turning.
ok. it's a best replica of real life location, it's pretty easy to sell off all the sheds and start from scratch, if i put down shabby old buildings not fit for use i could have 90% knocking on the door complaining the farms buildings are no good. i get enough stick without giving them a loaded gun and bullets included :)
Hi John, i have no intention of chasing content creators in regards to takedown requests submitted to hosting providers.. with the amount of content creators using Saxlingham via social media platforms that include heavily edited maps i don't see any issues thus far. i think a little common sense is required here..
edited version of the map that gets passed around social media and ends up on hosting sites is not acceptable, that's pretty much the brunt of it.
