Just buy one of the open lots and build your own if you dont want one of the "useless farms" im sure the one you build will be truly amazing 

What farm are you on? Most of the farms have built in dryers, those metal and yellow machines near the silo with steam coming out the top. You fill it up with propane which you can get from mocasin and tip your corn into it and activate it in the productions menu, you will see its a different trigger and metal tipping grate than the storage silo silo right next to it

The animal pastures have meadow for me. And goats milks spawns on pallets, its not just a milk trigger like the cows, so if you have goats in the pen it'l spawn the milk rather than wool
