it's called trail renderer! i implemented a bit of c# for the color switching but the trail renderer component in Unity doesn't seem to be as comprehensive as it could, or should be. so i had some challenges with the colors switching on the entire tail and not just from the point of contact with one of the 'paints'

I loved the outcome of this game. The way you kept a clear concept through the story and also made it simple but also the game itself is pretty engaging and difficult. Well done.

Once again you have such an interestingly wacky game that absolutely tickles me. This was such an interesting playing experience and a wild concept that I really think only you could make work so well. Bravo

This was a stunning game to experience. I dont know if you looked into color theory, but the aesthetic of your game aligns with some interesting aspects of color theory. I really loved the concept and the way it flowed through this game

What a neat concept and game experience. I really felt how flushed out this was and appreciate the obvious thought that went into the gaming experience one might have.  This is an incredibly difficult narrative to convey and a concept topic to put into a game but you did it very well.

Jackson your game concepts give me a much needed serotonin boost. I loved this game, it really was so fun. Incredibly difficult which makes it even more fun of a playing experience IMO. I appreciate the concept and how you designed the game experience. Well done bucko

This game is SO COOL. Eerie in a very interesting way that makes me want to just explore this world as much as possible and look at all the little details. Really loved watching this game be played, I truly enjoyed seeing your concept come to life. I think you did this extremely well. Bravo

I love love love games that throw you into a storyline like this. The visuals were fantastic and the abstract imagery really sets the player up for a unique playing experience. What a wonderful concept, you did it very well.

This gave me such nostalgia!!! I loved the design of the game and the way you kept the cohesive aesthetic throughout. I think its a little too easy to bite the dust in this but it was really enjoyable to play, I commend you for making this adorable throwback game

This is a good example that simplicity in design can help a storyline shine through. Theres a few little hiccups in some of the features but honestly I couldnt take my eyes off of your cute little animations. Its effective and I really liked it

This is one of the cutest most endearing games I have ever seen. Truly, I love everything about this game. From the aesthetic, to the way it plays, I am emotionally attached to this game. Also A+ for the sound effects. Love

I'm literally at a loss for words with the art work. Its stunning. I just want to watch an endless loop of someone playing this game, it truly captivated me. The story line is incredible and the finished product was wonderful to see.

LOve love love how classic this game design feels. It really reminds me of some OG platformer games, I really loved it. I appreciate how even though its simple its still entertaining and something I could go on and on with playing.

This was an insanely cute game with a wonderful outcome. I loved the experience I got and it reminded me so much of Y2K / powerpuff girl games from the 2000s. I also think it was more challenging than I expected which is honestly a fun surprise. Well done.

What an eerie yet inviting yet creepy feeling I got from this game. It reminded me of that suspension feeling really well done horror or thriller movies can give you. Your execution of this was wonderfully done, I really enjoyed every aspect of this game.

Truly well done with the design and overall concept of this game. It was extremely enjoyable and I felt really captured my attention. Some of the game felt crowded, some of it bare, and I think that really shows how with good design a message can come across strongly. Well done.

This game made my eyes happy while also being a moving story and stunning narrative. From the get go I felt fully immersed and at one with the sprite. Moving forward I would say you could add some more enemies and try to create a growing sense of anxiety as they are encountered.

firstly I love the premise of this game, the way you kept it impactful yet simple in the design and the way the game plays. I would love to see the levels developed a little bit more to allow for tension with the player, I really enjoy when games like this have a bit of pushback. Overall this came out fantastic.

I love how 90's this game feels, it reminds me of being little and playing plug in games on the family computer. If you ever wanted to continue with this game I would say flush out the levels more but keep them cohesive.
