Thank you so much for playing the game, Kelanael! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you -- over a year later, I'm so glad people are still taking the time to try out this fan project! The system for determining 'right' answers is pretty brutal, so for the sake of any other players, here's a basic walkthrough of the choices!

Chapter 1 They’re just pastries. Fight them off! | Handsome!

Chapter 2 Check out the clearing.

Chapter 3 It’s fine…

Chapter 4 Let them eat soufflé! | Look around town on your own.

Chapter 5 He’s been helping me.

Chapter 6 No!

Chapter 7 You must truly care for your family.

Chapter 8 I am not!

Chapter 9 If I must

I feel a little silly going into the depths of Rod's route, but there were a few things I was curious about, especially in light of the fandisk (which I can't wait for! :3).

-It was ironic to me that Rod, being a good cook and the son of a baker, had the only route where a treat isn't given to the princess (really! Karma buys her a cupcake, Rumpel gives her a chocolate, Waltz buys her a candied apple, and even Fritz buys her some croissants). I almost forgave this in light of him cooking a breakfast for the princess in a different route, but it would be nice to see him do more of that sort of thing.

-The princess states from the beginning that she never saw Rod as being as annoying as Emelaigne, but given their spark of rivalry in Rod's route, I had to wonder if she never felt threatened by him. Where Emelagine seems to have trouble catching up to the princess in terms of etiquette and such, Rod seems fit almost too easily into the role of a prince. You know what they say about the quiet ones. At any rate, it'd be really fun to see more rivalry between them.

-What was Rod before he was a prince? We never learn much about his past outside his former love. Was he a baker? A student? A pupil to some other merchant? Did he always have a princely mien, or has he had to struggle like Emelaigne to learn how to behave like royalty? Did his family do well for itself, or was he expected to help support them? How did he feel about his own father dying?

-Fencing! He has fencing lessons, but never seems to have a sword on hand like the king does. If he's had training for months (or possibly a year or more), is he any good with a sword? Is there a reason he wouldn't carry one around when outside the palace?

-I was a little sad there isn't more dialogue between Rod and the king. The princess said that the king treated Rod better than her, but we unfortunately don't get to see much, if any dialogue between the king and his step-son. Did they have a good relationship? Did Rod have any expectations similar to Emelaigne's thrust on him?

-The princess mentions getting flustered by Rod's voice in the end. :3 Are we going to be seeing more of the effect of his voice in the fandisk?

I apologize for the load of questions, but my curiosity has been awakened in full force (the result of having played the amazing game that is CP, by the way).
