Jam Feedback from KB & Jessie

Art: 4/5 Gameplay: 2.5/5 Theme: 5/5

It's super cute - the style reminds me of childrens books and Adventure Time, and it could definitely work as a puzzle game for younger kids. Keep working at some new levels!

looked super fun i like the puzzle idea and art would have been nice to play solve some tho

I like it also, I'm not familiar with the text based games but I like the story line a lot! it was fun! Good Job! I Noticed on one of the option screens, it doesn't show the text unless highlighted, maybe its too dark normally?

Interesting game

Love the art and characters, really decent digital novel. Can't think of any criticism

Very punny. Portrays the different personalities well. The punctuation seems to vary a lot. Some lines don't have punctuation. Nice research.

Good start to an idea

The sun animation is cute! I like the idea!

Really nice prototype, can't think of any criticism

There is a line on the character that seems a bit like you need to type. The concept is great but there is not much to it at the moment. Definitely, something to keep going with. Nice level design sheet.

The artwork is stunning, and the dialogue works really well for the game and theme! I love the choice the colours, the choice to go to multiple endings and the ability to load and save too. Main thing I'd do to improve it now would just be to add some sounds and background music :D Love the puns and jokes in it too!

Great artwork, with some classic visual novel gameplay. Only thing that immediately stood out is the colour of the text on the buttons. On my monitor it was quite hard to read, against some of the background. Love the idea of characters fitting the theme by using sun gods, and the play on words obviously

Love the idea, super simple puzzle with a real potential if it had more time. Would love to see a mobile version done by dragging your finger around the screen. A perfect representation of the theme too.

Great concept, its like a 2D version of the lasers in portal. Would love to see this expanded on, could also make a great mobile game using dragging instead of keyboard inputs. A few bugs, although that's to be expected with only 24 hours.

Some sound elements would be nice in thee. Having some sound effects and some transition elements will be great. Careful with spelling as there are some spelling mistakes through the text. Good effort.

Good mechanic idea, I like the way you implemented. I would love to see some instructions, to give me some suggestions on how to approach the level. Some sounds elements will be great to get the player more immersed.

Great mechanic, I really like it. Some nice level design. Minimal sound elements in there, I would've love to see some animations or end level screens. Game complexity is good. Great effort.

Fun idea with the names and the visuals work really well. Some more game mechanics or maybe a mini game would be fun. Maybe a goal to guide the story would be nice. In terms of finding goddesses, Sunna (germanic) would have fitted as well. Most language groups gender the sun male but a few languagues exist where is reverse.

nice idea with puzzle aspects on an idea level. Dynamics could be fun with different maps of initially different coloured patches. It might be good to first start with a working level or maybe do a more of a paper prototype and coloured work on paper. Fun idea!

Fun idea with the ladybird and the mirrors. The controls are a bit difficult and the screen size. Sometimes the background texture was a bit confusing. The physics engines sometimes goes a bit crazy when moving close but super fun concept. Hammering space is a bit much.

The game is really sweet, love the little ladybug character :D
I understand that a lot of it went jank from last minute additions, but locking onto cubes across the screen when i want the one I'm stood next to could messed up my solutions sometimes,

Very cool concept! Really enjoyed using the mirror to solve the puzzles, and the art works quite well for it too! Just a few things: The movement does feel a bit stiff, and could be a bit smoother. There is also a slight glitch where if you push the mirror too far to the right, you can't get it back to complete the level. The choice to pick your level is also a nice touch :)
