This is a game about three characters robbing a train – in space.

It’s designed to tell one story and it’s doing this from start to finish. For example the stats rootin’ tootin’ and shootin’ – I just really love how the use of these terms transports the vibe of the game already. Grit and Heat are great additions on the mechanical side, too. Both are cleverly woven into the game. The Player’s Turn Walkthrough is really helpful, as is the summary at the bottom of the character sheets for the use of Grit. What I also loved, is the Swings part for enemies. I think it adds something interesting and unique to each adversary, of which there are three. The black and white art is clear and gives you a good idea of the archetypes.

As I really like the +stat/-stat part for some wounds in e.g. Eat the Reich, I initially thought I might miss this part here. But using Grit is a clever way of adding a reward.

What I love:
your wording is awesome – rootin’ tootin’ shootin’ just transports a whole lot of vibe

The Art

What I missed:
locations (even if it’s just for inspiration). I felt like a few descriptions of specific wagons would have topped it off.
maybe some loot to grab on the way

All in all, I had fun reading this game and your use of words had me picturing scenes frequently.

This is a cute little game about anthropomorphic animals on their quest for free food.

The game has a very reduced version of the Havoc engine at its core, where you just roll 2d6 plus an additional 2d6 if your main personality ties in. Players are encouraged to get creative about finding ways to incorporate their personalities. Generally, getting creative and working together to tell a fun story are explicitly written into the game.
The character sheet is very reduced too but it’s cool and has a big button that you can mash once you crash out. I really liked the mechanic as well as the representation on the sheet. The random tables are good points of inspiration and help convey the spirit of the game.

what I really love:
chaos,
crash out,
heart to heart,
difficulty chart,
your random tables,
general appearance/style.
Plus: the art is really beautiful and fitting. ^^

what I was missing:
maybe more ways to add dice, like tying in your background, your dreams, your occupation …(because you are encouraged to decide those in the beginning [which is great])
maybe some items that you can use a limited number of times (like once)

Thank you for your comment. You are absolutely right: a map is missing. We initially planned to have one and Björn came up with some really cool ideas (like using hazard pictograms for the locations to give players the possibility to make informed choices). But due to time constraints I decided to finish the text first.

We had a rough version already and maybe it is a good idea to provide it as is, to visualise the layout and give players (and GMs) a better understanding of the area. Thank you for the input.

Thank you so much for your comment and especially for the advise. I will add it to the top of the list of things to do for a revised version.

It's Awesome, that this Jam got you motivated to finish this. I Absolutely love it. Great artwork, cool character, looks like it is fun to play. Will definitely print it to try this out.
