Very amazing game! Make sure to expand the content post-jam, all the other things for a enjoyable experience are there imo!

I played the native linux build, which panicked while compiling the shaders when first entering the game due to an IO Error. It worked fine on the second attempt, and I coudn't recreate the crash trying 5 more times.

Since I wanted to be resource-efficient, I threw the first 3 corpses into the same pit (there was enough space!) but the game forced me to dig them out again and bury each in their own hole :/

Also, I had some struggles fitting the whale into the hole and the grab hitbox for the octopi was a bit fiddly.  Distinguishing dead from alive octopi was a bit tricky, which made running around the map scary even after purging the octopus clan :p

Still, having tried 12 submissions so far, gameplay wise this was the most exiting experience for me :)

While I immediately loved the gorgeous visuals, I gave up after 10minutes of failure, because I didn't understand what I was supposed to do on the space bar and mouse tasks. After reading the comments here, all saying everything but the WASD parts is very easy, I decided to give it another try. Once I understood that I just had to spam, I finished the playthrough and came to really love the game as a whole.

My initial issue was probably that I didn't know the meaning of the word "mash" :)

Thank you for actually compiling the project!

We did not get around to implement an effect for the package of pills in the bright room in lvl two, and the bunch of pills you found lying around the corner has an effect (at least on your native build) but you can't see the effect it cures on lvl 2, because of a bevy fullscreen material bug on 0.18 (the fullscreen material effect wont reactivate after respawning the camera).

Thanks for the cursor tip :)

That's an incredibly well scoped game! Super fun game loop for a jam and it gives the impression of basically being feature complete and fairly polished! Incredible :)

Thanks for the motivating words, we didn't manage to finish in time but will refine it afterwards :)

The only other effect I attempted to add immediately broke the web build, so chromatic aberration had to carry :p

Thanks, yeah we didn't manage to finish in time :/

That was awesome! Though there is a bug that when you pick up the keys, then unlock the doors, then leave to menu and return, the doors are locked again but the keys do not work anymore, so you have to reset the level.

Thank you for recording this, very helpful!

As mentioned in the description, the native builds were accidentally compiled with a development feature, causing the asset path to be invalid and all native builds not working :(

I wasted my final hours working on the game trying to fix the web build, which had an opengl panic, finally I just removed the darken shader that was causing it from the game, which is why the final set of 3 pills you encountered had no effect (the debuff that should be cured was not there). Also you should not have been able to escape where you did, the exit being reachable in this corner was a bug :/

Full screen not working for mac is unfortunate, as mouse capture not working on web outside fullscreen is something we observed as well :/

The ambient of rain, clouds and thunder is really amazing, well done! Though having 5 ducklings following you gets annoying on the ears pretty quickly.

I think I picked the alternative dialogue option and the fever thing didn't come up again.

Thanks! We ran a bit out of time this weekend and while I wanted to polish the game before release, I instead spend ~6-8 hours trying to fix errors with the web build due to webgl errors and stuff, until I had no time left to fix such little annoyances (tho the falling-out-of-the-world thing should only be a one-time issue at the beginning of the game).

Agreed. Past the point of leaving the supermarket the game is an incredible experience imo, but 71 bars are way overkill and a pure pain

Where forward? I ran and jumped through the scene for 5minutes, spamming everywhere I could without success

Incredibly cool game for a jam :)

Sadly I got stuck in the library, after gazing upon all of the bookshelfs knowledge, I found no way to "Consume the equipment" and proceed.
