Hi! I had the pleasure of playing your game during today’s showcase

I absolutely love the visuals, they are stunning!

However I have some thoughts about the feel of the platforming. I played quite a lot of difficult platformers and what I learned is that the best “tough-but-fair” feeling ones actually employ a lot of tricks that seemingly make the game easier but are not perceptible to most players. And I think you can greatly improve the feel of your game by implementing some of them. In particular the bouncing off the spinning wheels really could use a more forgiving timing, it feels like I press it at just the right time, but die regardless, so I have to consciously press it a lot earlier and it feels imprecise because of this.

If you haven’t already seen it, I really suggest taking a look at this excellent overview of forgiving techniques employed in Celeste - one of the best hardcore platformers of all time in my opinion.

Regardless, you have done an amazing job and I wish you the best of luck with your game!❤️
