Very cool! Great use of audio and darkness to create a scary atmosphere! The visuals look just like an old horror game, and the letterboxing really gives a confined feeling. One thing that did take me out of the immersion was how small my character felt, especially when compared to the toilet, some windows on the wall and Andrea. Idk if this was intentional but it definitely eased the suspense at times. The ending was stellar! Taking away the only mechanic I have to fight back really gave me an "oh shit" moment, nicely done!

I love the simplistic visuals, and the enemies are very very cute! Gameplay-wise it works really well, and chaining feels very nice! One frustration I had was that I couldn't see when an enemy would attack, and sometimes they would snipe my move in the middle of me placing a block, but at the same time that also made for an exciting battle! Good stuff :)
I'm stunned at the amount of polish this has for a gamejam! The story is pretty well-written, the environments look great, the music is nice and not too intrusive.
The most impressive part? The AI! It's genuinely though to play against, and I failed the last few levels quite a few times before I could clear them. Massive kudos.
The art and music are super cute! Overall a great aesthetic :)
Sadly I wasn't able to play much of it though, because whenever I moved left or right after rotating a block, one of the foods would get stuck in the air :(
Dropping the puyos made them all drop SUPER fast, so I'd often place multiple blocks when I meant to place one.
I do think the game has very good vibes, and I'd love to revisit this if these issues get patched after the jam :)
Sleek and stylized! I think the stylized blocks are really cool and give a distinct vibe, even if they can get hard to visually parse sometimes!
The option of going up in exchange for junk is a nice twist, and having junk get dropped over time (as opposed to all at once) makes it feel punishing but fair!
Cool concept!! The potions are really inspired!
I do think that the amount of columns makes it feel really hard to lose, and I wish it wouldn't force fullscreen.
I'm very impressed with the AI! That's probably the hardest part of making something like Puyo Puyo, and it's pretty smart for a month's worth of time!
