This was a wholesome and beautifully crafted visual novel! I loved the characters, and the overarching message of self-acceptance, set against the backdrop of a cozy, charming fantasy world. The humorous moments made me laugh out loud, while both endings were very powerful and moving!

And thank you for using Fablefly Music's tracks for this game! If you'd ever like some custom music composed for a future project, feel free to email me. :)

I would love to learn to do proper chiptune songs someday, but yes, for now it's not my specialty! Thank you for using the track nonetheless and commenting - very kind of you to offer a future donation too. :)

Whoops, didn't realise I'd switched to my other account when I made my last comment!

That's awesome, thanks for letting me know! :D Your game looks so fun and cute, and I tried to download it, but was getting the error "Data Folder not Found"? If it gets fixed, let me know because I would love to check it out! :) Good luck in the game jam!

Thanks, glad you like it! 😊

Looks excellent, thanks for letting me know! ^^

Haha no worries, and thank you very much! ^^

That's right, this song is completely free to use. You don't have to pay now or later.

Some of my other songs have an upfront cost (eg USD $1), but once you buy them, you don't have to pay anything else in the future.

Whoops sorry, I accidentally replied to your question from my other account, Almanak Games, where I upload my games!

Just confirming that the information in that reply was from me, and is accurate.

Hi there, yes that would be fine - if you add a link to fablefly-music.itch.io, that would be awesome too!  Thanks for checking. :)

Thank you for your kind comment, I'm glad you like it!

Ooh thank you, that's awesome! Fun Halloween game you've got there - best of luck in the jam. ^.^

Thanks for your comment, and sure, go ahead! These tracks are free to use in your own projects - just credit Fablefly Music. :) I am open to composing custom music tracks as paid work too - email me at fablefly.music@gmail.com with a brief description of what you're after, and we can chat further!

Oh how cute!! Thank you for letting me know, and no worries! :)

Thanks for using Fablefly Music's track in your short and sweet game! Love the art style, and the unexpected, unsettling twist in one of the endings!

As someone who is very fond of mushrooms, I thought this was a cute and cozy game with imaginatively described fictional fungi! Thanks for using my music in your project. :)

Oh thanks so much for letting me know! It looks like a lovely game - I'll give it a play as soon as I get a spare moment! 😊

Of course, it would be an honour! Am looking forward to seeing your game!

Oh thanks so much! :)

Wonderful, thank you for letting me know! I will check it out! :)

Woo thank you!!

Thank you! :)

This was a super fun submission! "Funky Kokoro" was my favourite iteration of the drumbeat and that sliding sound (I'm not sure what it's called!) - I was imagining a giant, very round final boss creature bouncing around haha. My only recommendation would be to add a new instrument here and there to keep things fresh and surprising! Overall though, I really liked it!

Your soundtrack overflows with mystery and melodies that contain twists and turns. I loved the soft, moody moments in your tracks - they let the listener absorb the atmosphere of your imagined game world. But my fave track was "The Endless Marching of Time" - the addictive beat and slightly jazzy melody had me swaying along, and the instruments you chose complemented each other wonderfully. Masterful work.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback! :)

Lovely, immersive ambient sound design and music. Your game concept also stands out - you had a fresh approach to the theme and delved deep into the emotions of your story through your soundtrack. A wonderful submission to the jam!

Thank you very much!! I was pretty ecstatic when MuseScore expanded their instruments/sound library haha!

Thanks for your lovely feedback! Maybe one day I will actually make the game to go with the soundtrack. ;)

Chiptune music has a special place is my heart, and I think you nailed it with this soundtrack!! Decisive and strong-melodied, each track radiated personality corresponding to what it represented within the game. Ether Temple was my favourite of the bunch - those harmonies were bliss to my ears. Your game plot also sounds super interesting - I would definitely be keen to play something like that!!

This was majestic! The tracks worked beautifully together to paint a rich, atmospheric, cohesive whole, while still bringing something fresh and unique each time! I'm a big fan of the adrenaline-pumping beats in the starting tracks, and the soft yet stirring melody of "Fond Memories" - but I think my favourite was your final track. The vocals caught me by surprise and they were absolutely lovely! I'm a sucker for ominous Latin lyrics bahaha.

Nostalgic tunes! "Keeping Time" was especially groovy, and 7pm's theme had a cool rhythmic quality. My other favourite was "A Moment of Rest" with its playful yet chill vibe. Good job!

You've got some cool sounds and melodies going here! The last track was my favourite - it had a grand, emotional resonance. My only recommendation would be to reduce the volume of the "clapping" sound in the background, as it was a teensy bit loud at times in comparison with everything else. But overall, your music tracks were nicely done!

Thank you very much! :)

These tracks were lovely to listen to! From chill vibes to catchy percussion to head-bopping tunes, you've shown off a great range of compositions! I really like the concept behind your pieces too - I can imagine it being a fun and wholesome game. :)

The introduction of "Outer Time" grabbed my attention immediately and literally made me go "oooooh". I was engrossed for the rest of the suspenseful first track, the clock's ticks tying it nicely into the jam's theme. "Spin the Hourglass" was lovely to listen to, mysterious and delicate - what a great choice of instruments. Finally, "Inside the Falling Clock" wowed me with its mesmerising sound design combined with a gorgeous piano melody. I loved how the melody began to mimic the ticking of the clock in its repetition, while never becoming boring. Incredible work!

This soundtrack was beautiful! The way you weaved together all the different instruments and sounds (all very high-quality) was absolutely lovely. I am particularly a fan of the rich-sounding woodwinds in that first track - those trills were deee-lightful! The second track was also a pleasure to listen to, floaty and dance-y. The third track with its oriental sound and introduction of vocals was a surprising but nice shift to show your range. Excellent work!

This was a fantastic submission! I loved the mix of modern and futuristic, and the creation of an enigmatic ambience. I listened to "The Watchtower" several times over because I found your blend of instruments in it so interesting! And that waterdrop-like beat that plays in the background sometimes ... I don't know what it is, but I'm obsessed. Well done!

Suspenseful pieces that get the heart racing! Felt like I was in an action movie. :) The complex range of sounds and instruments made this very interesting to listen to, and your incorporation of the jam theme was great and nuanced. Funnily enough, while I was listening to this, a couple of police cars drove past my house and I thought to myself "wow, the sound in this track is really immersive" before I realised, hahaha! Awesome work, really enjoyed this!

Thank you very much! :)

Thank you so much! I admit I am a fan of using violin and harpsichord sounds haha!
