The attention to detail is truly impressive! That goes for the story of course, coming up with so many characters, fictional events etc. must have been a ton of work already. And then there is also all that detail regarding the forensic stuff. And the game art. Plus the overall vibe and atmosphere is also fitting, especially with the choice for the background music. This is great work and the effort that went into it really shows!
I did manage to solve the case, too. Yay!

Gameplay wise I found it to drag on a little bit. Maybe having less victims to identify and instead some other deductive activity would help with that? Also I would have liked something to cross of yearbook entries so that I know who I don't have to consider anymore (though it was still manageable). I did not enjoy the report part too much, because I kinda knew what happened already and wanted to finish at that point. Although I like the idea to get the point accross of how the events played out.

But one must emphasize that the bar for criticism is really high here. This does many, many things right and it was fun solving this! Great game!

I think this is really unique and interesting! Refreshing idea, cute&polished artstyle and nice atmosphere.
Also the game makes a really good effort to not overwhelm the player with text!

I didn't play to the end, but definitely enjoyed my time staying. Great Job!

I tried two times, but unfortunately wasn't able to get past the first chapter. PRETTY sure I did everything there was to do, but it is also not unlikely that I missed something 馃槃 I was cooking up some soup though and couldn't think of another person to give it to where it would maybe have more of an effect.

Which is a bummer, because I think the game is gorgeous! The artstyle and the music cerate really fitting atmosphere. The puzzles felt rewarding too, resulting in a fun gameplay

It's obvious that a lot of time went into this and I think you did a really great job! I enjoyed my time playing.

Thank you so much for your kind words, we are very glad you enjoyed the game!
As the one who obseseed over dialogue and hints the last days I do see your point, but at the same time I am glad that this had a deadline and I had to stop 馃槃 I might have kept going forever

That you pointed out these two details makes us really happy 馃槃 Nice to see, that these details actually resonate with players.
What you describe sounds like you can interact with the npcs in the endscene, which shoul not be the case. Thank you for pointing that out!
We are very glad you enjoyed the game, thank you for your kind words!

Okay the cat pushing you into a shelf is definitely a new one  馃槀 Sorry, that must have been really annoying.
Thank you very much for starting over, your detailed report is really helpful!

We are glad you enjoyed the game :)

We were really happy to see this, especially as the first comment!
That is indeed a bug, thank you for pointing it out 馃槉

We are glad you enjoyed it!

Fun time mechanic! The "roguelike, but mystery" aspect works really well here, especially because it is so well executed. Story and setting are well chosen for this and fit perfectly. The artwork is nice, too! You get rewarded for paying attention to little details and the gameplay is fun because of it.  And it provides the player the feeling of being in charge of what happens. The story could have used a twist, overall it seemed a little unsurprising. But that's just a small gripe. I think you have done really really well here, especially considering the timeframe!
