Yeah, we always encounter issues on web export for mac. It sucks cause trust me I know what it looks like and its borderline unplayable haha. If you have a PC id say give it another try because even the intro is all messed up. But thank you for the feedback and playing! If you have any tips for fixing that issue on Mac please let us know.

Did you happen to be playing on a Mac?

Yeah honestly improper scope/time management on our side. This was an intended feature we really wanted to include but we basically got the tutorials levels +1 in so nothing more complex. Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Honestly blown away. Shaders are fantastic. It ran perfectly on my Mac laptop which is rare. This really tickled my inner child playing PC games in the early 2000's. Absolutely nailed the aesthetic. I wish there was more, not because it was missing but because I want to continue playing.
Literally the only feedback I can give is that I dont like the sound when you boost.

Fantastic job.

Appreciate the feedback! Super fair on the name, I actually agree. We sort of chose the name early and just stuck with it.

As for accessibility 100% we should have done that. Super easy to add the 1:1 remapping, we will make sure to do this in the future! Thanks for playing and I hope the world becomes more arrow user friendly! :)

Did I have to manually search your discord username to find this game? Yes.

Is this my favorite game of the jam so far? Also yes.

Great job, there's a ton of things I really like about the game. I really love the players animation, and im curious as to what the process was to create that. The gameplay is just incredibly smooth. The idea is fantastic, id love to see this evolve into a full game. The art style reminds me of Pico-8, very retro style. Really fantastic job. Im glad I manually searched this, I think you should really try to get an image and screenshots on your page as it will help visibility. More than happy to help with that!

Some feedback if you did want to continue to work on the game:

  • Having items with special effects would really take this game to the next level. Thing that could start an "engine". For example I found myself hitting the ball with the back of the paddle often, if I had gotten an upgrade that make those hits stronger or something I would have freaked out.
  • You could kinda abuse starting the ball really close to the player and easily break out half the level. If not intended should be pretty easy to solve.
  • Sound effects were not on par with the rest of the game, but as a solo dev I cant fault you for that.
  • Was a little frustrating when there was 1 brick left, maybe there's a way to make that last brick a little easier since you're never really in danger with just 1?

Didn't really dock you point for any of these, just feedback.

Once again great job, and keep up the great work.

Wow, I think my brain retrograded backwards trying to play this. Really really love the theme interpretation, 5/5 in both ways you interpreted the theme. As difficult as the controls were, they were just as satisfying to get down. Really great job. Graphics are incredible as well.

Didn't see it at first but in the puzzle and game design started to see the similarities haha. Super cute and charming game. Loved the VO, wish there was more. Also really love the art style a lot, its really really well done. Only feedback is I wish there was more of an indicator when throwing to know the angle.

Man the art and animation are truly on another level. The puzzle was a little confusing at first, but trust me I understand how hard it is to fit a tutorial in a game for a jam haha. Great job, truly inspiring work with the art.

Yeah the 2X speed can break the simulation for sure. Figured it worth leaving in with a warning. Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Haha there's actually another team that also did the same TMNT abbreviation name. Crazy! Appreciate the feedback.

Glad to hear that. Wish we had more time to make levels, really enjoyed levels that had multiple solutions!

Absolutely stunned by the visuals, UI, audio and just polish in general. I cannot believe this was done in such a short amount of time. Actual gameplay did feel like there a little something missing but godayum I could just stare and listen to this game all day. Seriously blown away, the mutation UI, sound, everything...

Really impressive, especially from a solo dev. The games presentation from the falling between levels, cohesive art style, sound and music is perfect. Im not much of a rage game enjoyer but this was a breath of fresh air as while it has that rage game gameplay it was still very relaxing.

I found myself walking in and out of those light rays just to see the art, almost wish there was some more shaders there to give a sort of haze effect or something. Its just so pretty with the contract of the 3D, 2D pixel art and the shadows.

Only feedback was the glide/air movement was a little tricky to get down. I guess you cant initiate horizontal movement if you've already committed to a jump that doesn't have A or D pressed.

And if you are going to make it a full game, id love to for the levels to be all together like other rage games so you can try to catch yourself or fall to the bottom.

Great job, really enjoyed it!

Really enjoyed the voice acting and sound/music in general. Also the way the cinematics come in with camera movements really reminded me of my childhood gamecube games, so if that was your intention kudos!

The music is absolutely fantastic. The art style is very charming and does a good job of mixing the mutations. Overall super solid game, my main feedback would be with some QOL things as well as UI/UX.

It feels a bit odd to have to click on View Racers then Start race again. I feel like "Race" then "Start" would communicate that a little better. Not a big deal, once you understand the flow it makes sense. Also I wish there was like an accept mutate button for the mutations rather than having to go back to the menu then come back in.

Would love to see more mechanics, maybe more stages/challenges. Super fun!

The audio, art and general gameplay loop are awesome. Basically agree with most of the comments here so great job. Really impressive work in such a short period of time.

Sorry I should have been more specific, I meant the weapon effects. The guns themselves were awesome haha. But yes, totally understand.

Love the direction ya'll took for the graphics and theme of the game. Overall super fun, silly game. I could totally see a full game being made if there was a couple more mechanics, the art style is really hcarming.

This game is awesome! I love the art style, its very charming and the hit effects, shooting and all that are literally perfect imo. Really solid game!

For feedback id say it was a little counter intuitive when having to press exit sometimes like when choosing something. And I wish the mutations were more mutation themed.

Super fun game though, and I really really like the art and the way they were implemented with animations.

My favorite game ive played this jam. Absolutely nailed the theme,  the opening cutscene is great as well as the actual game page is just perfect. I love that you can select which part of the turtle to mutate, and its awesome there's a physical representation for those mutations.

For feedback id say as a player, its not really clear what each statline does, as well as the mutations. So it did feel like I didn't have too much agency with my choices. Still beat the game twice, still loved it. I would buy a full version of this game, the loop/UI reminds me of Cloverpit. Great job.

Great job with the game mechanics, plays really smooth. I especially love the pixel art and shaders for backgrounds/cards. Big fan of the channel, big inspiration for me entering game jams!

Thank you for the kind comment! Lemmings actually was an inspiration in the ideation of the game! Classic.

Thank you! Hahaha, you could never be too safe!

Hahaha we all know the feeling, trust me.

Thanks, we really wished we had more time to design more puzzles using multiple mutations! There's some really fun interactions.

Really appreciate it, will check out your game tmrw!

Honestly I really love the little creatures, their walk animations and idles are all really charming. I really really wish there was swag for me to buy like a little house, change backgrounds to different patterns or something and maybe like a hat. I also wish this lazy little guy would pick up their own food sometimes! >:)

Theres something really charming about the simplicity, I just wish there was more.

Really great work with the shaders, they're really cohesive and fun to look at. The general graphics of the game loop were fantastic and easy on the eyes, the boss was a challenge but lots of fun. Wish there were some more creative ideas for upgrades, also I think the background being an animated shader would really tie it all together nicely.

Really loved the graphics of the game and the UI, the font was really hard for me to read personally though. The controls were a bit hard to use since its orthogonal and you have to aim with ur movement, I wish it was the mouse. Would love to see this game progress with more advanced enemies, level design and bullets.

Absolutely the easiest 5 in graphics all day for me. Gameplay wise, feels like the click was heavily neglected, but the UX was fantastic. Also really loved the music and the UI sounds, the potato sound did lack some meat though, wish it was heavier.

Love the art style, its really cohesive and genuinely impressive how well it ran in browser, for a full 3D game with good graphics. I wish there was more challenges and enemies, would love to see what you come up with for characters for that. My main feedback is that the mutation felt a little forced. Also, the animation was really nice and fit the characters.

Really love the pixel art characters. I had fun, but the balancing felt a bit off. I really really wish there was more of your original art like in the background and the UI could use some love. Sound choice for the turtle click was a little annoying. Huge shout out to you for being a 1 person team. Id suggest if you're going to shift the pitch, the range should be really small.

Thanks so much! Thats the nicest thing we've ever heard in regards to one of our games haha. Really appreciate it, and to answer you question its we come up with this idea by sitting on the sidelines of so many game jams and just coming up with ideas.

Gorgeous game, really love the art style and theme. The game runs smooth and the game loop works well. My feedback would be that it feels a bit low agency, other than clicking fast I don't feel like I have much influence over the actual gameplay. The balance also feels a bit off, feels like 1500 is way too much for that first incremental upgrade. I feel like with a few gameplay tweaks this is an amazing game.

Appreciate the feedback! The way is 100% waaaay to hard, we overscoped and werent able to get it to where we wanted in time.

The ambience, voice acting and visuals were all great. The game was a bit confusing and not really straight forward, I honestly just drove around for a bit but nothing happened. Went up/down left right haha.

Agree with Firekings comment.

Really impressive atmosphere, really feels like you're working in a submarines terminal and very polished!

Love the mechanics and scanning giving an audio que.

I think would be really cool to have more enemies and maybe have them interact with the scan a bit. I feel like I was just waiting to see a shark out of no where in the flashlight's beam and that would have scared the shit out of me.
