this is so sweet thank you sm for sharing !!!! have been digging through transgender zines on here the past couple weeks as i prepare to start making my own exploring this kind of subject matter & it's sick to finally find a fellow transmasc in these depths!! i loved this and Artist Unknown, please keep making !!!!!!!!
Hey !! I found this browsing active jams and just wanted to ask since I notice the focus of this jam is games, would it be okay if I submitted a zine? I've been thinking about making a zine for some time and looking through zines by other trans people on here has inspired me a lot !! I will be working on one that will be a collection of poetry and drawings and some photography from the past couple years dealing with a lot more gritty themes, but I don't intend to have it done until closer to the end of next month. I was thinking of making a smaller zine before I start working on that just to experiment some with electric zine maker & zines in general that would be a photography collection from the past year chronicling moving out for the first time around the time I started HRT and the development of the home I've built for myself with the help of my friends. Starting HRT & moving out were huge, hard, and necessary decisions I made following the hardest year of my life to date -- everything sucked and I hated nothing more than living the way I was and I NEEDED things to change. It will basically just be like a slice of life thing about how the life you need and dream of is possible and you can make it happen and you deserve it and it WILL happen and fuck everything that stands in your way you will prevail you deserve nothing less than love and to live happily and authentically etc. I've had this concept floating around in my head for a bit but this execution is inspired heavily by Alicia Luna Ripp who I have recently discovered and her zines stickers in shitty places and accidental photography. This is definitely much more of an epic come up and a trans love and happiness thing and it's not a game so it's okay if not !! But I just saw this and thought it was sick and my thinking about making this is coinciding with when this is going on and etc and this would give me a deadline and force me to get off my ass in the next week LOL but yea i've said more than enough lmk !!!!!!!!! Ty!!
this is so cute and insightful !!!!!!!!! tysm for sharing i hope this finds people who need it!! creating for the sake of creating is so important & it has taken me Years to build up the zeal again after total burnout in college. i've been looking to zines a lot for inspiration and as a medium lately and i think i'll definitely take it up! thank you again for sharing((: keep making !!!!
