Thank you for playing! Hopefully it was a good challange for you but not too hard

Haha thanks! 3d in pico8 is a big challenge. My next game will make some improvements. I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks! I tried making it clear with sound effects and changing the color of the cross-hair, but I didn`t have time to add the first person view of the weapon shooting. But I`m glad you enjoyed the game!

Thanks! I didn't notice lol. Fixed.

The controls felt really good! I liked the gameplay loop and the art was great

Nice!

This was a very fun clicker!

Wow the art style was so great! I really loved the gameboy fell, it worked so well! The controls also felt great, I just wish you explored the puzzles a little more, but I had so much fun!

There was alot of AI, but it was a nice idea and felt pretty cute

The artstyle is very funny! The gameplay was simple and fun. I liked it alot!

Art was great!

This game was hilarious lol. I liked the jiggle phisics. You just forgot to add colisions to the sides, so you can walk beside the road and win easily, but trying to win legit was alot of fun! The music was great as well

This game was so much  fun! I really liked the controls and it felt great to run around. It was also gorgeous

I really liked the art! The sound effects were also great. I have to admit I was a bit confused as to what the items that weren't clothes did, and what was the game loop. But I really liked the concept, I think if you add a tutorial it'd be great!!!

Thank you!

ok this is actually mind blowing. As someone who just started using pico8, the amount of content is extremely impressive, all without any performance problems. Masterpiece.

The idea was that the inventor (Mister Marvin) accidentally mapped power off and jump to the same input (thus making you your own enemy), idk if I made it clear

Hi, I’m glad you liked the game!!! To answer your question a level select is super possible, and I’ll probably add sound eventually. I had tons of ideas for items but unfortunately only had time to implement the fire extinguisher, so I’ll probably work on the game for a bit after the jam is over

No joke this was my favourite game so far!!! The concept is really fun and fits very well with the theme. The controls feel smooth and I loved the art and sfx!!! Great job <3

This was a really fun coding challange! I am a bit conflicted on the use of AI... but I had a good time

Wow this game was so impressive! There was alot of visual polish and the sound was really satisfying. Even though I liked the concept for the gameplay, I wish there was a bit more challange, like maybe a punishment for letting the humans reach the end of the screen or some type of cooldown for the abilities in each square, because as it is I jus ended up waiting in one square to kill the humans that came at me in a straight line. So it was missing a bit of challange, but other than that I really enjoyed it!

Damn this game was fun! I just thinks it needs a bit more polish in some areas. The main issue I have is that the buttons and wheels can spawn on top of each other, and one time I got stuck because a button spawned on top of a another button and I couldn't press it. Other than that I really enjoyed myself! I liked the sound effects too

I love the idea for this game! I really liked the artstyle you chose to go with as well! I wish there was a point system or something indicating how well I was doing, and maybe rewarding me for not using all of the balls available moves. I liked the simple idea and it really fit the theme imo!

This concept was really fun and a great interpretation of the theme and limitation. Great job!!! I would just like to see a bit more refinement in the controls

This was a reallt fun game! The controls were on point and the power ups were really fun and unique. I didnt notice any use of the theme and limitation, but rather than that I really liked it! (I'd like to see you make a thumbnail tho instead of using an AI one)

Amazing execution of a simple idea. I had alot of fun. This was a very good interpretation of the theme and limitation imo

Amazing art. Very funny game

I really liked the idea, just wish that the objectives were more clearly indicated. Its a bit overwhelming especially on the first playthrough. Like for instance it says "Shouldn't be above X" in one area and "If it reaches X do Y" on another when both function basically the same. Kinda confusing

The dialog was really funny imo and you nailed the gameboy look! I had to give up on beating the game tho because my character stopped shooting. its a shame cuz I was excited to see the ending lol. (Also did you have to make the robots spawn with invincibility in the boss fight :/ )

Thank you! This was something that I put alot of thought into, so I'm really glad you noticed!

It was super satisfying to go full Katarami on this town lol

(1 edit)

The level of polish on the visuals and sound is super impressive!!! I really liked the controls too even if it took me a bit of time to figure out what was happening. I kinda wish that the objective was to push the white guys into the holes since that was what was more fun to me

I liked the concept! I would suggest only updating the players position when the player is holding the button to move

Thank you for playing I`m glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately I wasn`t able to add everything I wanted to and sound is definetly one of those things. Maybe on my next game I`ll focus on it

Honestly they were VERY hard, but I really enjoyed the challange and it felt really good having that aha moment, I would be sad if you lowered the difficulty. I`m excited to see more of the game!

Is there a way to defeat the enemies?

The animations are sofa king good!

Thank you!!! I`m glad you enjoyed the game. Honestly time was a way bigger limitation than pico8 lol

I am a huge fan of the art style!!! However I found that I could win without thinking much and only choosing the card that costs the least

I liked the simple idea and it works! I just wish you indicated where the mosquito was facing since it seems to be vital information
