No, this happens due to a minor bug when attempting to text her without having the required skill level. Check the quest log to see which skill is needed, level it up to the required threshold, and then proceed with the quest.

This enables the developer console. Then load your savegame and press SHIFT+o. This will open the developer console.
Enter the following line there and press ENTER:
$ alice_quest_progress = 1
This resets the quest.

There's a bug when playing in a language other than English, it will be fixed with the next update. As a temporary solution, please switch the game back to English for these part of the quests and, important, skip the time once so the game sets the characters locations right.

When you purchase the Steam version, you buy the game once and receive all future updates for free. On Patreon and SubscribeStar, you subscribe on a monthly basis, gaining access to the game and all updates as long as your subscription is active. However, you don't actually own the game on these platforms.

Shattered Minds is no longer available for purchase on itch. However, you can get the latest version now on Patreon or SubscribeStar. A release on Steam is also planned for later this year.

Currently both are V0.11. The next update gets released on Monday for supporters and everyone who already bought the game here on itch!

Deleting the app deletes the save files. I'd suggest backing up your saves beforehand and then installing V0.10 from scratch.
