I had the issue during the Shadow test and hopped it would be solved with the final release , I know I wasn't the only one complaining but I have to accept the devs just don't want to give us that option.
My understanding would be that its a sort of game balance thing since its limits item spamming. But the option kinda let you bypassso I don't really see the point in not giving the optionanymore.
Its very frustrating because holding e feels so much more natural for draging stuff around imo, its a big part of the game (for me at least) and this update makes the game fundamentaly worse to me and that's kinda sad. I wish there was some reason given for it is all.
I also don't mind the other control changes but that's because I could never memorise the old ones in the first place lmao.
