SOLVED!

I had the same issue on my Laptop. The only thing my both systems have in common ist the Anti-Virus Software (Bitdefender 2018). You can read more about the solution here: ntdll.dl Crash [Solved (BitDefender Antivirus)]

After I added the game to the whitelist of Bitdefender, I was able to test-play more than 45 minutes without a crash on my Laptop. I'll test it on my gaming system soon.

At First I had problems to start the game on my Windows 7 Laptop. It crashed immediately after I started it.  Under another topic I read about that issue. I loaded an older Version in Steam (that one for older save-files) and that one works. After that I loaded the newest version ( 2.21) again. The game started without a crash. Maybe that experience could help you for debugging.

I'll report if I experience more crashes.

Thank you for your response an your help. I'm locking forward to play your game in the full release version!

I'm playing the version 2.21. It is the first version I'm playing. I didn't try earlier versions.

So, this is how the message looks like:

followed by this:

No notification from Windows after I closed the program.

And here some information from the Event Viewer:

Thank You very much for your fast response. Sadly I have to disappoint You:

I tried to deactivate the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service in the Task-Manager. Because of the setting of its start type (automatic) the service restarted immediately after I stopped it. So I set the start type to deactivated. After a reboot the service was deactivated.

This workaround didn't solve my problem. The game crashed again after about 15 minutes.

Then I updated my drivers (the GPU driver wasn't up to date). Stil the same problem.

There is an option in Windows 10 to let the system automatically select a tablet-mode. I changed the option to use desktop-mode only. Still the cashing problem...

My last hope was to start the game in compatibility mode Windows 7 and as Administrator. Still crashing after about 15 minutes.

I'll try to play the game on my laptop now.

Please let me know if You need any more information or if You found a solution.

BTW, my rig:

Windows 10 home 64-bit

GeForce GTX 970 (driver 388.71)

Intel Core i5-6500

8 Gb RAM

Two monitors (one for playing, one for YouTube while playing)

Creative Sound Blaster Z

Created a new topic Game crashes after 15 minutes

Every time i load the save-file the game crashes after about  15 minutes an 25 seconds (i measured it with a stopwatch).

I tested to make no input with the mouse or keyboard after 15 minutes. Same result: "The program stopped working" message from windows.

I play with the Steam version on Windows 10.

In the options i turn off the music an set the game to full screen. I have to redo this changes in the options after every start.

What can i do to figure out the reason for the crash?
