rough estimate from experience in VX Ace is that its a long process of scripting making the animations and maps (thats with me putting in minimal effort) than you got to make a char model for all 4 directions plus a stepping model while walking for any new char they add and all and all at best a few months thats me estimating though so take this with a grain of salt
