Another suggestion: 

• A toggle option for skipping boss introductions would be great for replay purposes.
  • An observation that may have already been corrected: Resetting a run with the boss as the starting point sends you back to the beginning of the stage as opposed to restarting the boss fight. Not sure if that's intentional.
    

Some scanline and/or CRT filter options with tweak-able parameters would be a great visual enhancement.

Really awesome demo. Looking forward to the final product!
