Very nice atmosphere! Sound design is on point

Glad to see another Godot dev.

Sorry to hear that!

We're kinda' surprised we even got it working on a windows browser!

Thanks for the heads up, we didn't get around to testing it on our linux setup do to a lack of ethernet ports in our switch for getting it on there.

In the future I'll look towards testing on more platforms!

Thanks! That's really what we were aiming for!

The cube explosion was pretty cool! Interesting choice in having a move limit; helps to solve the puzzles!

Pretty good game!

Yeah, I'm still trying to get more familiar with Godot's audio capabilities so once I got the music working I decided to leave it there for the jam!

I appreciate the feedback, thanks for the compliments on the style!

The art assets and sound design go very well together and meshed well.

Game was pretty quick, but level 5 and 6 definitely made the game shine in how combining the dodge and dice roll mechanics really changed up the platformer formula!

Really good submission!

Sadly I didn't have time to get my tutorial to the place I really wanted it to be!

Thanks for the feedback!

The opening cutscene was pretty well done for a gam jam!

The dragon fight was super tough, but was also lots of fun!

Very polished and long game, was pretty fun getting through the tutorial with the gold die in hand.

More text color variation would've been nice to denote special information a tad bit more.

Very nice game!

Yeah it's seems for your and other comments that getting the camera clipping working should've been a bigger priority lol. The artist was very proud of his Dice Corn as he called them lmao.

Thanks for the comment!

Gameplay was very smooth and felt pleasant. Aesthetically the art style was pretty together. Sound effects could use a bit of variation due to often they tend to play.

Good animation for the dice as they jump squishing the sprites makes them feel dynamic.

The ring animation showing how long you have before the next dice spawns feels intuitive and is easily understandable.

Great submission!

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

  1. Initially I had the camera follow the player but due to clipping issues I had to settle with a fixed one :(
  2. The dice have a small particle effect that shows when a hit registered but it seems that was a little hard to see.

The polish wasn't where I wanted it to be either, and I'm definitely revaluating what game jams I have for next time!

Sadly I ran out of time for a proper tutorial! I felt having some info was better than none, but it definitely ended up being a bit much.

Thanks for the comment!

The art is so charming in a goofy way. Got the stuck die ending, 10/10 accuracy.

Short but sweet submission.

Thanks! The artist really enjoyed trying it out!

Pretty good submission. Would spin again.

Slamming the table is fun, and the dice attribution mechanic is pretty solid. Game starts a bit slow but adding the 4th die and more enemies gave it some flair. Pretty good game overall.

Good luck with the Jam!

Supposed I should've listened to my audio guy a bit more on the sound design lmao.  The artist also said the same comment about the dice preparation so I guess I should've listened to him too.

Lesson in humility lol.

Thanks for the feedback though! Really appreciate it!

Initially that was the plan! Sadly, I was unable to get the clipping working right with the enemies before the deadline :(

Thanks for the comment though! Glad someone liked my idea!

Thanks for the kind words on the Art! The artist didn't sleep much lol. He really appreciates the compliment!

Decent game mechanic, could use a tutorial though.
