I don't get it still I figured it was some kind of code in the characters in the wall and the poem on the desk must be some type of code wording? Perhaps?

I'm having problems with the mechanic. It sometimes put me on a error code saying "Might be a infinite " or something like that... I can't do the part in the tavern upstairs the cards one and battles. It sometimes crashed my laptop or froze for a sec/minute
