Honestly, there is nothing special about it. Just delegating monkey job that used to take hours or even whole days.

Here are a few simple examples.
Code:
Scaling resolution for different screen sizes. UI work and stuff like that. It used to take a lot of time for such little things.

Text:
Sometimes you write an upgrade description, but it does not fit in the frame because of the length. Rewording descriptions so they fit turned out to be a great fix for that headache. 😄

Art:
I used to sit in Photoshop for hours doing post-processing, manually changing contrast/brightness, and other parameters for hundreds of sprites. Now you can just automate it.

Yeah, that is just a small part, but you have to understand there is no magic or secret to it. Modern AI cannot make games from a single prompt or anything like that, despite all those posts on Twitter. Though maybe GPT 67 will be able to do it. 😄
It works best when you know what it is capable of, clearly understand what you need, and phrase your tasks based on that.

I checked all the AI tags simply because it feels honest to me. It is way worse when people use AI and try to hide it. To me that just looks strange. 😄

Yeah, I plan to add more hints. During development, you start missing stuff like that. 😄

Thanks a lot for the feedback and the kind words! ❤️

Information  about what? 😄 You have AI listed too, so I doubt I could tell you anything new.

Thank you! ❤️

Sure, but I forgot to take a screenshot of the final results.
I decided to replay it. This time I wasn't as careful, and I got eaten 7 times. 😂

Awesome little game! With more polished levels and a timer for each level with global leaderboard stats, it would be amazing!

Also, a game like this is practically begging for a "Super Meat Boy" style replay mechanic showing all your attempts at once on a successful run.

Once again, great job! ❤️

It's awesome when people notice little details like that. Thank you! ❤️

Thank you so much! ❤️

Yeah, that idea popped up right after reading the jam theme. Glad you liked the art style! ❤️

Thank you! ❤️

Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

It is such an amazing feeling when people drop a screenshot of the final screen. Thank you so much! ❤️

I feel blessed by this review! ❤️

I am going to screenshot this review and frame it above my desk. Thank you, legend! ❤️

Thanks for the feedback! ❤️

Yeah, the skill tree interaction definitely needs some work. 😄

Yooo, your match is bigger. 😂

The UI, level design, and core concept are just fantastic. I actually thought about putting live creatures into my own game as well, but ended up feeling that was a little too dark. Great job! ❤️

Wow, I have never seen an untangling puzzle like this before. Great job! ❤️

Sorry about the house. My bad! ❤️

Fun little game. At first I kept trying to aim at the enemies until I realized the game has auto attack. Also, it would be cool if the upgrades were cards or tiles. For the first 3-4  seconds I could not figure out where to click to pick one. 😂

But overall, nice concept and art style. Well done! ❤️

Lol, I have never seen anyone combine Monopoly with a boxing match before. 🤣

Fun concept! ❤️

Thank you! ❤️
I added them two days before the jam ended, along with two more islands. I'm glad you liked them. 😄

Fun runner with a flipping mechanic, but that difficulty curve hits like a truck. 😂

Cool Sokoban. I liked it. I have not seen one with fire mechanics like this before.

Great job! ❤️

Really beautiful game with super satisfying mechanics. Unlocked a memory of "The Incredible Machine". 😄

Great job! ❤️

What a game design! I have never seen an idea like this before, even though I have played dozens if not hundreds of match3 games.

It would be awesome if there was gravity between the balls. Both between individual entities and between clusters. Right now you get situations where you split a part off and it just moves along with you on its own. I think that might also be why matching a chain of balls sometimes fails right now despite them visually looking connected in a group of four or five.

But overall, the game is absolutely excellent! Well done! ❤️

Thanks! ❤️

Yooo, the one thing I definitely did not expect to see at this game jam was a fighting game. 😄

Beat all 5 levels. The attack chain idea is interesting, but the balance still needs a bit of work right now. Currently, it does not really matter what choices the player makes.

But overall, the game is interesting as a concept. Well done! ❤️

Fun card game. You can tell from the map that there is a lot of content, but the game barely gives you a chance to survive. 😂

One mistake and you are dead. Yeah, like you already mentioned, the game definitely needs a tutorial and a smoother onboarding. Also, the text above characters blends into the background. A subtle outline would make it much easier to read.

But overall, the game is interesting as a concept. Well done! ❤️

Great game of focus with nice art and audio. Really enjoyed it! ❤️

At first I thought choice did not matter at all in this game, but then I lost on stage 3 and started calculating the stats more carefully. 😄

Great concept. Well done! ❤️

Great puzzle game where timing is everything. There were a few levels where I was about to give up, but managed to pass them with my last ball and kept playing. 😄

Great job! ❤️

I like how the lily pads slide apart when you jump. I almost got eaten by a turtle, but I escaped. 😄

Great job! ❤️

The art style is amazing! Really unique and original game. Great job! ❤️

Merging the balls themselves is satisfying, but as @jsmgms pointed out, a simple score or a clear end goal would make it even better. ❤️

Yeah, like others already noticed, the WASD/Arrows keys do not work, but hey, that bounce animation is fire! ❤️

Yeah, I was thinking about a tutorial as well, but I haven't come up with a solution yet that wouldn't push players away instead. I tried adding animations to the buttons over time, but that is obviously not enough. Definitely something to think about and improve.

Thank you so much for the feedback! ❤️

Holy... I thought this was just an awesome Vampire-like game in 3d. I died to a mob and thought that was the end of the game. Imagine my surprise when I saw a cutscene showing a whole settlement with a bunch of characters and mechanics! Absolutely incredible work for a 2-week jam. Well done! ❤️

Awesome and super polished game. Great result for a 2-week jam! It was especially fun launching an exploding zombie into a crowd. Beat it on my second attempt. The boss took me out on the first run. 😂

Also ran into a small bug where the game does not scale to fullscreen, but it is not a big deal. Great job! ❤️

Incredible game design! Simple, but super addicting game that fits the game jam theme perfectly.

Great job! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pretty addicting puzzle game with 30 levels that fits the jam theme really well. I especially liked how the game adds new mechanics as you play through it. I think around level 4 or 5 I caught myself thinking is it gonna be like this the whole game, and right on the next level another page with modules popped up.

Great job! ❤️

Minimalist merge puzzle. Loved the design, both visual and sound. Nothing extra. Just a great game for the mobile market. But as others mentioned here, the game does not really use the jam theme.
