i love this game: 225 steps

The controls feel so smooth and intuitive and I love the visual style. The game is difficult, but in a way that feels fair. I only played until the first booster, but I got this feeling of triumph each time I got further and further.

The soundtrack is so good omg he’s just hammering that sample I love it! And it fits so well with the gameplay. The song reminds me of the song Club Banger 3000.

“great catch” 🤘😔

The art looks really nice and the controls for the fishing portion are intuitive

This was a fun puzzle game. The only gameplay critique I have is that resetting takes a while. I’d press ‘R’ around 10 times per level – which I recognize is probably a skill issue lol

Reminds me of Cooking Mama. My favorite minigame was the laser cutting board.

Whenever I land at the base of an obstacle I think “there’s no way I’m recovering from this”.

I love the pixel art for this game. I did have a problem with the UI where I’d be laser focused on getting the timing right to the point where I’m not paying attention to the track. Sometimes I’d get lost thinking “which horse is me again?”

Maybe having the bar follow underneath the player could help that split attention problem.

Wonderfully intuitive game idea. Even if I mute my game my keyboard still makes the hoof sounds

Complements to my art skills mean a lot to me :)

I did a bad job explaining the game mechanics in the game/page description, but you actually have infinite mid-air jumps! I'll be sure to create better tutorials for my future games.

The art, atmosphere and writing are the highlights of this game to me.

Thank you telling me about your experience! I realize now that I neglected any form of instruction or tutorial. I slapped a .gif of gameplay in the description as a band-aid solution

I also appreciate your ideas on how to improve the game -- it gives me direction on what mechanics are fun/should be focused on.

Thank you for playing! I'm happy you thought all the parts fit together

I appreciate the suggestion! It makes me want to experiment with a game focused on combos and juggling

I enjoy hitting the enemies into orbit
