I think that's Madeline's scene? If it is:

Take a breather in the park > Sit and think > Hesitate > And this is Maya...

Load an earlier save and grind a bit of exp. If you can't, you can always cheat...

Here's how to:

Go in the "data" folders and open either "weapons" or "armors" as txt files, then use ctrl+f to find the name of one piece of equipment your characters have. Then, find the line with numbers in brackets, and increase those numbers. You can get infinite stats this way, allowing you to oneshot enemies

(Making space because it's a screenshot)

Welp. Apparently being on wave 30 can make you slightly overpowered. This is turn one

Thanks, figured it out and managed to win (also I'm like 3 times faster on mobile lol)

How do you close the door? I click on it and I even tried dragging it but it just seems random. (I'm playing windowed)

Edit (Same problem in full screen)

There will be 10 chapters total, so we're actually pretty close to the end of the story!

(1 edit)

Only got around to playing this today, but. Holy Fucking Shit.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Things went from 0 to 100 REAL fucking quick, this chapter was absurd! I was NOT expecting that in the slightest! Like. We get 7/10 Leviathans. And then 6 immediately die. Jesus Christ (also, damn we were totally playing the BAAAAAAAD guys what do you MEAN Royale alone has 26k kills?). Loved all the pictures and new sprites made for this chapter by the way. Gameplay wise, I think this was much easier than the last chapters, which is honestly welcome because some fights against 4/5 enemies in ch.2 were pretty obnoxious. I can't wait to see how the story continues! My prediction is that Lydia somehow has a "backup" of sorts of every Leviathan's soul and can bring them back to life, but this seems like it's still going to be one hell of a war! I also wonder what's in this Vault that could be so important. Worth the wait for sure.

Bugs: The new magic skills for Adelaide can't be taught to her at the moment. I have them in my inventory, but using them didn't allow me to teach them to her by using it on random party members as it did for the others. Haven't found any other notable bugs.

Typos: Some sentences have unusual syntax, but it was still comprehensible so not a huge deal. Also not a huge deal in the slightest, but the area name for The Trough is actually written as THe Trough, which I assume was unintentional. I'm honestly surprised I even noticed.

Edit: Pssst, you need to update the page! "The current build contains THREE chapters out of twelve" now! Also, 12 chapters. Like holy fuck. How much planning ahead have you made?

Question for... anyone in the gutslut timeline:

When all the people and animals of the world are devoured by the unstoppable hungry spirits, what then? Will the spirits eat eachother? And if that's the case, when eventually there will only be one spirit left, what then? Do we just assume that spirits will escape the Well and eat eachother indefinitely until the end of time?

(Also, Anne, congrats on unleashing the apocalypse👍)

Well Well Well

(HEADCANONS HERE WE GOOOOOOO)

"I swear, her fourth wall breaks rewrote my brain chemistry or something."

Brother, same.

I assume the "making it up as you go" is why the forest expansion ended up having a pretty important chunk of backstory for Anne. But I think it still came out nicely and felt relatively complete (well, as complete as a game that purposefully leaves a lot of things open ended can feel, but I don't mind. Just means I get to indulge in headcanons :p)

Thanks for responding!

To developer:

Of all the characters and game over scenes you've made, which are your favorites? Tough one, I know.

Therefore, a simpler question: when was the idea of making a game born? Was the story of Anne something made specifically so you could make a game on it, or did it exist before "game" was chosen as the medium to tell it?

To Developer:

Is there one "canon" ending or is this a multiverse situation where all endings are canon at the same time?

To Truth Ending Librarian (Annette?):

Have you and Nala practiced some form of safe vore together? I've also noticed you've grown... bigger. Gave in to predatory urges, or simply an unexpected growth spurt? (Though something tells me it's probably the former~)

To Gutslut Ending Anne:

How are you able to guarantee coming back everytime you are digested? Any chance one could learn it themselves for... you know~

To Artifact Ending Anne:

How's life been treating you after leaving everyone behind, and what do you think ended up happening to Nala and your mother?

(I know you don't respond for cameos, but this one is just roleplay)

To Unknown:

Are you aware that you're totally wife material? Just as long as you don't permanently digest me, that is~

(Dang, long comment)

Hype. Good reason to replay the game for the fourth time

(How did you make Marie so hot good Lord)

No, like, for real. The puzzles are great, the story is great, the game overs are incredible (My Lord the sound design or the kisekae models I can't choose which I like more) and the game is VERY horror, I felt anxious throughout the entire playthrough. Currently replaying the game to get all endings.

Also I got a TON of Omori flashbacks in THAT area (you know what I'm talking about). Congratulations

Snooped in the pictures and found an enemy called "Tough Catgirl" (like the catgirl, but with black fur) with two belly stages, but I can't seem to get into an encounter with her anywhere.

Anyone know where I can find one?

Edit: Solved!

You're welcome! I love giving feedback to stuff :)

I wish you luck in trying to balance your idea for the battle system, and I am interested in getting to know this world's lore more (as I am with anything really).

On a different note, while it's completely different from Sea of Stars I higly advise playing The Messenger. Some of the best platforming i've ever had the pleasure to play. Sadly, I don't know anything about making stuff with RPGMaker so I can't help you with the popup idea

Have a nice day, and sorry for taking a while to reply :)

So I played through what I believe is essentially just a way to show the world map and I have to say that everything is very basic, but well made. The small cities are currently all copy-pastes, but I like the design of the GUT building (altough it looks a bit too modern?) And the idea that each city has progressively stronger equipment/spells already makes me figure out a rough order for the story.

The little amount of written text to read I've found is alright I suppose, there are some small dialogues that I found pretty funny. There really isn't much here right now, though.

The MC looks cute!

The battle system needs some balancing. Having three turns in a row seems excessive, and against single enemies (like the "bosses") it's a guaranteed win with Devour>Digest>Digest. I assume these test fights were mainly to test out each "class" option and their skills, so it makes sense that you haven't properly balanced them yet.

Last but not least, EXCELLENT music choice. I love Sea of Stars and The Messenger, so it unironically made my day to hear those (quite fitting) OSTs (kinda sad you didn't use Glacial Peak for the snow area though, that one's my favourite area music!). It's nice to see someone caring about the music instead of just using the default ones RPGMaker has.

That's all! I hope you have fun developing this game in your free time, it looks promising

I encountered a couple of bugs, so I thought I'd report them:

1) When two party members are eaten, a party member whose health is reduced to 0 can still act as normal as long as the occupant they're sharing the stomach with is alive

SPOILERS AHEAD

2) Against Da Boss, if you drop her to 0 health with Lana Da Boss will trigger the cutscene where she eats everyone, but the turn continues as normal so if any of your other characters are attacking you just defeat her and skip the "escape her stomach" part entirely

There's no bonus for winning except for a couple of lines of dialogue

yeaaaah, sometimes they're late

before the end of this month

Update:

Might as well post this again. I edited the original but it's 2 months old so I figured this is a way to be sure you see it

I think I got all the cards. I say think, because the 68 prey cards are missing Light Side and Dark Side (Luna's cards) and there's a mystery card that I am still missing, but I don't think I'm actually missing anything. So, technically, I'm at 69/68 unlocked cards? Somehow?

Edit: Light Side and Dark Side are still missing in the list, but while playing for fun I noticed Luna played a card I'd never seen before: Jab (well, Advanced Jab). I got it after digesting her. So, now I'm at 68/68 cards! Or... 70/68?

Edit 2: Found another Prey card that is missing in the list at the start of an Endless: Antivo Training (which is also pretty good). Did you add those later but forgot to add them to the starting list as well?

No issues with the 69 Pred cards though. All cards are accounted for. Unless there's one i've never seen either...

You need to extract the folder or else the game literally can't access the files. Simply right click on the .rar then find and click "extract here" or "extract files" (the second option puts all the files into a folder of your choosing)

They're not in the game yet

No issues with the Pred cards though, 69/69 there. Maybe the Prey cards are meant to be 69 as well but you accidentally put Light Side and Dark Side in the same spot so it shows as one card that you're always missing even though you have them and they don't appear as "New!" in card choices anymore? Man gamemaking is complicated

Finally found the last of the 6 available vore scenes. I could have sworn I picked those choices already but I assume I just misremembered. It was a good one I like her :)

Also tried out Anal in Endless, and it's pretty cool! Only problem is I am so ridiculously busted that getting in as fast as possible is the best strategy so it never really lasts long lol

I've also encountered a bug that seems to be triggered by the "Retain" ability gained from the new skills. If you use the rewind hand the retained card disappears from your hand, and sometimes clicking End Turn softlocks the game as the button just disappears without doing anything. Sometimes it even prevented other buttons (save, load etc) from working too! Seems like they're somewhat connected as it hasn't happened in other occasions

I've also found that sometimes you click "Save" and when you go to save it actually loads.

Lastly, loading from right after you digest a boss encounter makes it restart as if you've never done it, and it only happens with bosses for some reason.

Right now I'll be playing a bit of endless to try and get all the cards. Perhaps cards that you still haven't obtained should have a bit of priority? Or is there a rarity system that isn't explained directly?

Anyway, keep up the good work! Definitely the best non-JRPG vore game I've played!

Hello!

After playing for quite a while, I realized I've actually only seen 5 out of the 6 currently available vore scenes, and I am terribly lost. I have no idea how I can see that last one, and since this is the very first "update" I figure it's only going to get more complicated from here. I wanted to see all currently available vore scenes before the amount of possible choices makes it impossible to see them all in the limited amount of free time I have.

Below I'm gonna list the 5 scenes I've seen, I ask that you (or someone who's seen them all) can point me to the right direction without outright telling me, if possible.

SPOILER WARNING, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. PLAY THE GAME, IT'S GOOD

(1) Liz eats Helen (2) Liz is eaten by Noriko (3) Liz eats Maya (4) Liz eats Brooke (5) Liz is eaten by Madeline, along with Brooke.

Thanks in advance, and congratulations on making everything so interesting I just have to see everything!

I've beaten it. The new wedge you can get from the spider queen was my main damage source (if you keep the Bad Poison at 2+ it will start dealing 50 damage per turn) and then just spam lots of shielding and healing, but most importantly debuff her so she does half damage.

(I had tried posting a comment already a few days ago, but I don't see it here so I'm gonna try again)

I really like this game!

The story is really interesting and well written, the world has a lot of lore and all the characters look and feel unique, plus the sheer amount of choices and brancing options makes it so you can choose several different paths all of which are interesting and worth seeing! Can't wait to see how the story proceeds, and how you are going to incorporate Liz's everyday life in the story (writing, part-time job etc)

The gameplay for the struggling scenes (both prey/pred) is amazing! I was not expecting something so interactive and genuinely fun! All of the mechanics are well thought out and make sense, and there is a surprising amount of depth to strategies and "combos" you can make, with all those cards for prey/pred allowing for several different deck archetypes (altough some cards are weaker than others, though that makes sense. Not all cards can be good).

I know why I like the gameplay, I'm and avid player of STS (I don't know if I can write the full game name). It works surprisingly well in this scenario, but you put your own unique twist on this so it's still a different game and not just a copy. I really like the idea of Poses for one, and how every character has their own way of being pred/prey. Endless also works really well, but the beginning fights are pretty hard since the starter cards suck, and then you get really strong with all the upgrades and such so the stakes get a bit lower. Still fun though! Altough sometimes I won on the first turn.

Overall, I really liked this game and I can't wait to see more from you! Endless has literally become one of my favourite pastimes for now so props to you!

Have a good day!
